I find it really amusing to chase my Mum and sister around the house when there's a big spider around. I have no problem picking them up, and my Mum and sister just scream and shout at me. XD

I don't like them near my head though, but who doesn't?

Nether do I those things freak the hell out of me. I remember when my little brother caught him and brought it inside
I picked it up because I thought it wouldn't do anyting but that face was HORRIBLE YUCK!!!!!!
as I was taking him outside he tried biting me and freaked out

I found a praying mantis when I went to Tenerife; I was just about obssessed. I found it's face quite cute, but then again the one I found was only about as big as my little fingernail.

Yeah it maybe cute when there little (I've seen one) but when there adults they look like there ready to kill you.
