Bands that SUCK

I can tolerate Aiden, but then after a few songs I get bored. Like Attack Attack I heard the whole album, didn't like it. But best not complain.

Yeah, but you can easily tell the difference. A real guitar solo has a different tone to a fake one, like drum machines, it's hard to tell at first but what gives it away is the cymbals. I've seen fast guitar solos IRL, a friend of mine can play that fast and he showed me.

Just to go off to the left slightly, if you could be in a band, what would you play?

for the first statement it's not about whether or not you get bored, it's the fact that they've been on a ton of soundtracks and aren't THAT famous. They've been on Underworld Evolution, Lost Boys II, Dead Silence, Resident Evil: Exctintion and even a WWE soundtrack
and the side project of the vocalist, William Control, has been on a Saw soundtrack and Underworld: Rise of the Lycans

And if I were in a band I would probably do something acoustic like two of some of my favorite artists, such as Anthony Green or Craig Owens and then join up in a mellow project later on.

I haven't heard anything from the Underworld OST or the others but I plan to. I can't remember what song by Aiden I heard but it was good.

I like mellow. : )

That's why I like Pink Floyd so much. Their solos aren't annoying [meaning:
fast, screeching, sounding like a 5-year-old screaming jibberish in your
ears]. They are sweet to the ear. Just take their song Marooned as an
example. Okay, it might be higher pitched using an effect, but is controlled
quite well.

Usually when I think "mellow", I think of the artists I mentioned above

It seems so hard for me to get anyone into Anthony Green, for some reason. I don't see how anyone couldn't like it.

He's in tons of things...

and he used to be in Saosin a long time ago...

He has a really nice voice. It's gentle and it has nice tone. I must see those other projects.

Also I've heard a really terrible poser band today on Kerrang! TV. They're called Hey Monday, can you say Avril Lavigne wannabe?

a couple years back I went to a local We the Kings meet and greet and Hey Monday was there too...the singer chick said I looked like a "gangster"
I wanted to punch her lights in
It irritates me so much to see her all over the place now

I like kerrang...I wish we got it in the US
They always have better bands in there....
I got an issue of ebay a long time ago and it was mostly about Aiden :'D<3 I love the posters they send in too

I was bord and went looking for bands on MySpace and I found out that the singer from Linkin Park is in another band.
They're called Dead Before Sunrise and it sounds just like LP. hmm I hate them because my brother plays their songs everyday. >.>
But atleast I gained another favorite band. c;

I kind of like Bowling for Soup, at least what I've heard from them.

I don't know how I feel on Blink, though...I haven't listened to that much of them, but from what I have heard I don't like them that much...but I can't really voice my opinion since I don't have enough to judge upon.

I used to like Paramore a lot before the majority of their fans were 14 year old rich-daddy-text-girls obsessed with Hayley Williams
Then I felt guilty for being a fan so I kinda faded out
They're alright I guess

and while I don't like Justin that much, I think it's really refreshing and nice to see a young artist that isn't involved with Disney.

Ugh God I hate Paramore! And I hated them even more when that god-awful song was used in Twilight.
