Why I had a 3 year absent off of Spyro
You may already seen it a post that between 2003 - 2006 that I had a 3 year absent.
Why, if I remember, on September 21, 2003, my Playstation 1 has broke (the spinner part wasn't spinning anymore) and I don't think by that time that they don't sell PS1 anymore and I don't have the money for a PS2 (around that time, they were around 300 United States Dollars). I sold all but two PS1 games (both games are not any Spyro games).
My 24-year-old brother (18-years-old at this time) got a classic Xbox about a year before my PS1 broke, so I played that till Christmas 2004 where I got a new Playstation 2.
For the other 2 years (December 2004 - November 2006), I kinda forgot about Spyro (even know it was my first video game). I was so distracted with other games. Then by September 2006 when I heard about The Legend of Spyro: A New Beginning coming out, I decided to come back to the Spyro series, so I waited till November 1, 2006 so I had enough money to get the game, I got the money and bought the game.

Re: Why I had a 3 year absent off of Spyro
Yeeeah... I lost an interest in Spyro after ETD... heard of the TLOS series, thought it was kinda stupid... but to see for my self I bought all three, and realized... yeah, it was pretty stupid. But at the same time TLOS did bring me back to Spyro, despite my overwhelming disappointment of it. I guess that's why a taken an interest into Spyro again, seeing it in this condition just made me a 'tad' livid so I guess had to post my opinion and see what others thought.

Cool story, somehow I think this is about how everybody came about this site... My self bought the first 2 tLoS's. I didn't like them but I got caught up in the story line of the second one so I bought DotD andonce again didn't like it but loved the story lol.. I didn't like Cynder or Spyro like some people either.. I just got caught up in the story lol...
In anycase, good story ![]()

Re: Why I had a 3 year absent off of Spyro
I first started playing Spyro about the age of five. Ish. After my sister got Year of the Dragon for Christmas. She also got Enter the Dragonfly, I remember playing that with her. But we stopped playing Spyro after I broke her PS1 and she left to live with her dad. Then, round about Year 4/4th Grade, my best friend asked me if I knew what Spyro was. Then, I remembered we still had Year of the Dragon, and that's when I became a fan of the purple guy again.
