Facepalm-worthy things you've done

A couple days ago I was trying to clean out the keyboard of my laptop. I got it just a little bit wet... and broke the space bar. Now I have to buy a new keyboard and use the school computers in the meantime. -__-
What are some stupid things you've done recently? Vent and complain about them here.

Re: Facepalm-worthy things you've done
I think every snowball I've missed with this season. I am incredibly bad at throwing snowballs, I need someone to team with to make a snow machine gun using my hood.
And I'm also in perpetual facepalming due to every embarassing thing I have ever done ever.

Heh, that laptop of yours has really taken a lot of abuse recently. ![]()
Hmm, facepalm-worthy moments...
Well, today when I was walking home from school the ground was kind of icy. I heard a car behind me, looked back, and fell flat on my butt. Those people in the car must have thought it was pretty funny. You might say I was "butt-hurt". XD

Re: Facepalm-worthy things you've done
I tried getting up from my laptop with my headphones on at the start of Christmas break. While the laptop was falling, I tried to stop it with my finger, by pressing it against the screen. I succeeded in stopping the fall, but cracked my screen, nad I now have some blind spots (although the laptop is still usable - I just have to make the window smaller).

Re: Facepalm-worthy things you've done
i had a prober face palm moment at airsoft once
right just a quick run down so you get the picture
(BFG = Blank Fireing Granade and use's 9mm blanks)
(the fort is a 2 story building built from pallets)
(i was useing a pistol at the time)
(the objective was a lap top we had to collect and return to base with)
right! lets start =^.^=
about 7-8 of us arived at the fort and spread our selfs out and around to defend it from any attacks
(i was up stairs in a like hut bit)
waiting the lap top to be droped off by a marshell
none of us thought we'd have half of delta show up to try an take it from us O.O
about 10 mins into waiting around it got a bit boreing so we started chatting i sat down and started to sort all my pouches out
3 mins later *rata rata rata* as a hail of rounds come fling in from all directions
*i hid in a corner untill i coul work out where they where shooting from*
2 peeps stood up and shot back while i was crawling along to get a better view
one got hit as another hail of rounds comes flying up this time i stood up and started to shoot back
then i started geting shot at so i droped to the floor
by this time we were all on edge shooting at any thing that moved lol
i had my BFG with me at the time and thought "right if i take this lot down there from me out we can get out and start fighting back"
with that i stood up and lobed the nade towards the path where i thought they were but as i did
i got shot ¬¬'' and my granade went fling into the bushes >.<
i called hit and went down to get the BFG backas they like £80 each
this is where the face palm comes in
i went into the bush and found the nade but in the prosess i got stuck
and i was stuck up side down in this bush with my legs hanging out the top (yes there was pictures and i will try find them)
but i had to be pulled out.

Sure has. The poor thing deserves this break from my abuse.

This happened to me at work today, only I landed on my butt and somehow also hurt my knee. =/ Now there's a huge bruise there.

Re: Facepalm-worthy things you've done
I'd mind as well write a 25-30 page essay about the hundreds of thousands
of facepalm moments in my life. But I'll save you guys the trouble of
reading it. : )

Re: Facepalm-worthy things you've done
My most recent face-palm was when we were at a huge swimming competition which our club hosts every year on the valentine's day weekend. Last year I had just got home from a week-long school trip to Tenerife at something like 3 in the morning, only to get up again at 7 because the gala started at 8. But that wasn't the face-palm bit, that was just a general pain in the butt.
No, the face-palm came just after lunch, when the swimmers were warming up for the afternoon session. During the warm-up we play music and the 'purple-people-eater' came on. Now, there's a more 'up-tempo' version which we have compared to the original and throughout the whole thing you kick your legs out to the sides on the spot, so you look like your doing a sideways can-can while you do the actions with your hands. It's a tiring song... Anyway, just after the countdown had finished I went to start doing sidesteps to the beat (which is quite fast) and I hadn't even done one before I fell right on my *bleep*. The bit that made it so stupid was that I had like 4 people I didn't know standing around me while I waited for my race and my mum had also told me earlier that I shouldn't put the song onto the CD because the floor is slippery and people could fall over... -_-
We're right nutters at the galas, if you want to get an idea of some of the other songs we all stand and dance to here you go:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=g0Yrzz9X … re=related - Big Fish, Little Fish, Cardboard Box.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CS9OO0S5 … re=related - We all stand on the diving blocks for this one.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TSnvf7a8YMI - And this is the right version of it too, better beat.
In my opinion, the fact that we're sad enough to stand and dance to all of these is face-palm enough. But it's fuuuun... XD I'll have to find a video of us all dancing sometime.

Re: Facepalm-worthy things you've done
Me writing a letter to ask one of the hottest girls in my school out. We actually had a thing for quite some time. Then I guess it went away during the summer. Freshman year it was gone. Sigh.

Ouch. Thats harsh. I've done some pretty stupid things.
Oh I got one. I moved my buddy's 360 with a game in it. And it was one. It got scratched all to hell.

Re: Facepalm-worthy things you've done
My face palm moment was when I drew Doctor Nefarious Tropy wrong- I drew the roman numerals on the clock on his chest pretty wrong...
I even wrote over it in sharpie. IT LOOKS LIKE I DO NOT KNOW MY ROMAN NUMERALS!
And ofc it has to be on the front of my drawing folder. Good job genius.
