umm you do know the ps3 slim is only $300 right thats the same price as the xbox 360 elite. excluding that $50 rebate or whatever that promotion is.

not true as most PC's are not very good there for PC gamers need games that are ok graphic wise but not mind blowing

In a nut shell for you game to sell well the majkers need to make it look good but not TOO good or else its only for "hardcore" PC gamers.

Where as the PS3 the only thing you need to worrie about is making shure you don't over do it.

A PS3's graphics are extremely limited and they are prone to lag when they are designed not to lag. A PC has a magical component called a perfomance motherboard. If I had the money I could get one that has two CPU ports(not sure where but I have seen a few). Some people have systems with around 20GB Ram, 2.5GB GPU, 5.66Ghz CPU, you can do that on a console, the only reason the games don't look so great is because the games are limited to the graphics, not the system. The PS3 has glitches, lag and bad controls. People have complained about those 3 things, even hardcore PS fans. Also with the PC I can play Xbox and Playstation games on it, I play PS1 games on my PC. Also 350 to 500GB on disk space? The rate I go that's gone in a week.

Somer game developers do not wish to have to pay more mony to buy a game the PS3 you can bye anbd play but PC you must upgrade and stuff before you can play.

Moast PC's are poop but with a PS3 your getting a standerd consistent product. there are many diffrent PC's and the best cost way more than a PS3

Not always. I had a standard rig that was WAY more powerful than a PS3 because I could play BioShock without lag and all I had was 1GB DDR2 RAM, Intel Pentium 4 3.66Ghz and a weak 512mb Geforce 7050 onboard gfx. I had no graphics card. I only had my standard and with a PC I use a disk that had scratches like you won't believe and it still worked, my friend had God of War and it had like a fwe tiny scratches on it and it' busted, it will never work again. Also PS3 games always get lower scores when they are on the PS3. Look at Dragon Age. Here are the stats.

In the opinion of GameSpot, the PlayStation 3 version features higher-quality textures than those on the Xbox 360, better color saturation, smoother facial animations, and shorter load times. On the Xbox 360, textures are highly compressed and colors are washed out, though the upside is that this version maintains a smoother frame rate than on the PlayStation 3. Minor visual glitches, such as corpses that disappear and reappear, are more common on the PlayStation 3.

PC: 94%

Xbox: 87%

PS3: 85%

Due the the fact the rewivers complain about PS3 vertions when the other vertions are the same. its true on GT thay said Boyata was slow for PS3 but it was said to be slow for 360 aswell but they never mentiond that.

Also if you're a graphics *bleep* you'll love the PC. But best judge by overall gameplay rather than graphics. The other bad part when it comes to the PS3 is the updates that take 4 hours to finish when I can get the entire update downloaded onto my PC then installed onto my PS3 in under half an hour. Ask a few critics about the PS3's updates.
