Snow? Lordy, we've got about a foot of it! Our table outside looks like a marshmellow.

Global Warming? Pfft... :-P

Re: have you had any snow round your area

I may actually get a little bit of snow tomorrow. The very next day it's supposed to rain and freeze the roads. Since we typically don't have that happen, we aren't ready to salt the roads, so they're gonna freeze and we may have our first snow day! Not bad for living close to the gulf.

Re: have you had any snow round your area

There's about half an inch on the floor now here on the Yorkshire Coast (though it has literally all turned to ice; I fell on my *bleep* crossing the road when I was walking out of work in my wellies towards my car...) and its suppossed to snow on thursday and friday. However, our town seems to have its own private weather front... Seriously, you see a band of rain on the forcast and it seems to weave around my town, and unfortunately it does the same with snow...

Re: have you had any snow round your area

Aww ... all of you who are getting snow, you are a bit lucky.

It's about 15 degrees Fahrenheit over here, and nothing is evern freezing
over. Do we need rain? ... Maybe.

Re: have you had any snow round your area

We got a huge snowstorm about a week before Christmas in New York City. We've had a few small incidents of snow, but nothing else as huge as the snowstorm.

Re: have you had any snow round your area

Ummm...The day who come after the one I've posted , that is to say the first day back to school , we had a good quantity of snow , but nothing dangerous...10 cm...Well , it's cold , still. And slippy , before everything !
We have icicles around the windows in our high school , we watch them when we get bored in French class...

Re: have you had any snow round your area

We've had a few inches here and there. That along with the -20 degree weather makes for really icy roads. I almost slid into an intersection at the end of my street when I was driving. o_o

We've had loads for about a week, but yesterday it rained a lot, so it's all gone now. It's odd seeing green grass. XD

Re: have you had any snow round your area

There was a bit of snow down here in Buenos Aires. But that was like 3 years ago if not more. I dont know if with all the climate change and all we are going to have more, I hope we do. It was weird to have snow though, it had been like 30 something years since it last snowed.

Re: have you had any snow round your area

Yeah we got about two feet up here in Maine. They say global warming is real. Yet we are having record breaking winters. Global warming my *bleep*.

Re: have you had any snow round your area

Remember, global warming is not entirely about a warming climate, but more severe extremes. So that means harsher storms, colder winters, hotter summers, etc. If this is what they're saying, then global warming is surely doing its part.
