Crash Bandicoot Movie in 2012?

I just came across this on Wikipedia.

Hmm...

That page says The Animation Picture Company is making the movie, and it also claims they're doing Spyro. However, these people also claim to be doing the Spyro movie. Check the "Current Films" section and hit "Next" on the side.

So either one of those pages is lying or they're both fake and it's all speculation/rumors. I think the former is more likely.

I really don't see how they'd make Crash Bandicoot into a movie, either. .___.

From a popularity and marketing perspective, I can't imagine how making Crash Bandicoot movie would be a sensible idea. (actually, I would say the same thing for Spyro regarding overall popularity, but at least there is some relation to movie-related things for the past games like well-known VAs, an actual storyline, etc.)

in regards to the Spyro movie. both Wikipedia and Velvet Octopus say that "Wonderworld Studios" is producing it.
Wikipedia says so on its article about Spyro. i tried to put a link here but it wouldn't work.
as for Velvet Octopus, just look at where they show the Spyro movie, where Stormy mentioned.

about the Crash movie, i don't know what you're talking about yearofthe. there's no mention of Crash on that page. =S

Listen, unless there is actually an press release regarding the making of the Crash movie, I doubt it would be true -- even if you think it is. Try checking the news on Google News. At least that article was created... started in 2006. Give them some time for decent growth.

I must disagree. Final Fantasy Advent Children was amazing wink although I have not been fortunate enough to see the completed version yet :'(

Yes but FF seems like a game that could have a decent film crash and spyro do not.

Lats face the facts...spyro and crash should have died a LONG time ago. Im sorry to tell you it but its true i meen i love the new game's (all but DOTD) but there not selling well. how they are still been kept going is beyond me but they are in no fit state to have films made about them.

Wait the movie is coming out in the next two years? But it will be 2012 I hope it doesn't come out until or after 21st of December 2012.But lucky the spyro movie is in 2010 it would be grate if they did come out together in 2010
