Werewolf or Vampire?
which would win in a fight? not the wimpy vampires from twilight, I mean the vampires from myth and legend.
My vote goes to the werewolves.
A vampire BITES you.
A werewolf can MAUL you.

Re: Werewolf or Vampire?
Well it depends. If they're real werewolves (not Smeyer wolves) that only change under the full moon, and it wasn't a full moon at the time, the vampire might stand a chance because the werewolf would be just like a normal person.

Vampires are *bleep*. Werewolves kick *bleep* and vampires just plain suck (no pun intended).
Today I'm gonna get high and see if the Nixon tapes sync up to Pink Floyd.

Re: Werewolf or Vampire?
This really depends... Would it be a single vampire vs. a werewolf? Or an entire army of each in a large-scale war. Night? Or day? Let me think of a few scenarios:
Single Vampire vs. Single Werewolf, Day - Werewolf would win, since a vampire can't live in the sunlight the vampire would instantaneously turn into stone.
Single Vampire vs. Single Werewolf, Night - Vampire would win, since a werewolf doesn't have any more intelligence than a regular wolf when it is in it's beast form, and the vampire has the power to transform into a bat.
War - Vampires would win, since werewolves again don't have any intelligence during the night, and are very weak during the day. Vampires would be able to plan and fight, instead of werewolves who would just charge.
All-in-all, I would say vampires would win just for the fact that they have a much higher intelligence and the ability to avoid attacks easily.

It depends, really. I vote vampires becuase they can think, and Werewolves are like beasts.

sindrogosa? I have no idea what that is. my avi is a dragon called a frost wyrm from world of warcraft. a friend made a little animated loop of it walking and let me use it as my avi
[EDIT] LOL I had no idea that was the frost wyrm's name. I just looked it up now. I just quit WoW a few weeks ago

And now we will DIEEEEEE.
I don't think anyone really listened to my previous point. Why do we stick to this stereotypes of vampires and werewolves?

Because they're not stereotypes. They are characteristics that define the creature.

Re: Werewolf or Vampire?
Who's to say werewolves couldn't plan before the fight started? They could all eat garlic and jump into holy-water before the fight and before they would change and lose their sanity.

Re: Werewolf or Vampire?
Werewolves without a doubt. Vampires are known to only suck blood so they are at a disadvantage there. Werewolves have incredible strength and can beat a vampire any day of the week!
If you think that you can't do something, don't give up! Have confidence in yourself and things will become easier in the future.

Umm... The definition of a vampire and werewolf says it.
We aren't talking about Twilight here buddy...

Re: Werewolf or Vampire?
Lol, I just looked at the results. I'm the only one to vote vampire! XD
There are other variables too:
-How long is the night, ie time of year?
-When would the moon rise and set? (I know for a fact that it sometimes rises during the day, and it sets an hour or so before dawn, so the vampires could slaughter the human werewolves in that hour)
-The weather (it could prolong the night or block out the moon)
I'll try and think of more...
"The phoenix hope, can wing her way through desert skies. And still defying fortune's spite; revive from ashes and rise."

Have you seen Blade? You get day walkers just because a vampire can walk in daylight without bursting into flames doesn't automatically make it a Stephanie Meyer vampire. Also, have you ever seen Legacy of Kain? Kain is a vampire and he could walk in daylight, it just weakened him, but the other thing is he could turn into a wolf as well as a bat, he could also disguise himself as a normal human or turn himself into mist. Kain rocks!

And my points are that we're following characteristics that have always been used to define them. Apoc gives great examples of DIFFERENT characteristics.

There are cool vampires(Kain, Blade, Alucard, etc) and lame vampires(Twishite).
