"I don't see how cleaning the wound of an injured dragon saves my skin," began Faly, gently pushing on the lips of flech around the gash, thinking that it would take at least 70 stiches to patch up, "if I was really worred about you skinning me, I would run wile you'r stuck bleeding out..."

Faly placed the palm of his hand on Ulkna's neck and adopted a calming tone that his mother had used on him so long agao, "To put you to sleep, I will need you to be calm." he began, "I need you to think about something happy, something that lifts your spirts. What I will do is help induce a state of mental serinity that invites a deep sleep." Faly patted the beasts neck, thinking to himself that he should make his life alot easyer and kill the thing here and now, "When I finish up, I will stop fuling your scense of peace and allow you to wake up."

Something that lifts my spirits? I've got nothing. Ulkna said. My life has been full of judgement, neglect and betrayal. Seriously, isn't there anything else you can do?

Faly sighed, knowing that his job had become much much more complaicated. "Well, I can force you to sleep. Problem is I am a human, you are a dragon. When I impose my will upon your mind and body it's as if I was trying to push and pull you around town." Faly paused, moving his hand from the neck to the nose in preperation of his spellcasting, "not only is it tireing, but if you fight back it will be very difficult, and you may kill me." Faly flexed the arm that was not touching Ulkna, focusing his energy into that arm. "It will feel like someone is smothering you, or holding you down," said Flay, "don't resist."

With thought words, Faly uttered a few words and broucht his other palm to Ulkna's nose. The blow was ment to daze him, a distraction wile Faly aimed to ensnare Ulkna's mind and force it into submission.

I won't kill you unless you make any foolish moves. Just do it. Colum suddenly smacked him on the snout. Instinct told him to rid Colum's guts out in brutal self-defence, but he realised it must've been part of the procedure, even if it was weird...

Ulkna's eyes got heavy. He felt he couldn't keep them open much longer. I hope you know what you're doing kid. He said as he dozed off.

Faly scampered back to Ulkna's flank. Pulling out his small dagger Faly went back into the gash. a singly stone was left embedded in Ulkna. He cused ina many toungs when he understood the problem, "The danmed thing is stuck in the muscle!" muttered Faly, slightly distraced by Ulkna's involentary mental defenses. The dragon's mine was rebeling against him. Although in the Ulkna's current state of blood loss, weakened muscles, and sleep, Faly seriesly doughted if the dragon could pose any sort of a real threat, even is the scaly beast wanted to. Faly contemplated unpon the though that he had the great dark beast at his mercy, then pushed it out of his mind thinking, "Now is not the time."

Ulkna gave a shuddering sigh and moved a little in his sleep. In responce, Faly hoped back from the dragon, shuffled foreward, then gently patted it's flank wile givving out "shhhh shhhh shhh" sounds. Putting both arms back inside the beast, Faly pushed on one side of the stone to try and give a little bit of wiggle room. He succedded in gaining his wiggle room, from there he made a long and tireing process out of proding and probing the stone out of the mucle bundle. At long last he finally retrived the stone.

Faly dropped the rock triumphantly. Almost crying out in victory. After a time of celebration, a plan came to the little theif.

"Can you hear me?" Faly tryed to ask Ulkna through there mental connection.

"Can you hear me?" The voice was barely audiable, and came in short echoes. Ulkna tried to respond with his mind. ...Yes. Are you done? He asked. Even with his mind took much effort, and his voice sounded hoarse and quiet. Wake me up then...

Slinx sat there not knowing what do nor had any idea what was going on in the world. He heeded link's advice from days ago and thought of death. "If i won't be here when i'm dead then then doesn't that mean i live once?" He paused for a moment then went on talking to himself. "He said something about immortal dragons to. the ones that i tried to attack...If they were immortal then why am i not? what makes them special?" Slinx thought about these things for a long time.

Buck soon awoke. He saw it was still night but he didn't care. He felt rested and looked and saw Jun, on a bed of hay. Buck sat up. "What in the.." buck muttered in amazement. Then he looked about no-one was there, no sign that she had been helped. Buck started to think.
'I should leave her, she has to live by herself, make her own goals.' Buck thought. He then took a ruined bit of parchment and a feather and ink and started to write on the parchment.

Dear Jun,
If you are reading this i'm gone, and have decided that you should live by your self, find then Dragon or person that saved you. They need thanks. we will met again, until then,

This is a order Jun, your last order.

Buck smiled and and rolled the parchment up and put it under the bed of hay. He then lobbed the ink and feather of the building and then He started to flee to the safety. The forest. and that was that. Jun was left and Buck fled.

(( Yeah Buck won't be in my post that much but now the focus is Jun. smile ))

Faly thought to himself, "Tact is the most important thing right now. Careful, not too much pressure."

"Well, I still would really like to have one of your slaves." stated Faly, trying to sound slightly pleading. He still held pressure on the dragon's mind, thinking that if the dragon asked about still being asleep, he could tell it that waking up takes longer then most creatures expect.

I thought we went through this Colum, and I still recall saying no. Ulkna said. Why would you want one of my slaves anyway? What do you plan to do with him? Like I said, you hardly have the authority to own a slave. They'd never listen to you. You have to frighten them into doing as they're told. Ulkna chuckled. And you're hardly frightening are you?

Hmm. Seems like I've slept for ages. Link thought, but he could just see the sun drop under the horizon. A beautifull view that was pretty rare since the mountains blocked most light. There, from the top of the mountain, Link could see it, and he had only seen is once, as a child. It reminded him to the ammount of years he had lived. He was there, escaped from death many times, allways alone. And he liked it. He could never imagine life with others. He tried to acchieve it, but never succeeded.

"Time to go again." he said to himself. He jumped and glided down swiftly, almost vertically. As a comet he could be seen from far away. He still remembered the little fight between Ulkna and him. He created and learned to not feel the fear for Ulkna.

Link liked to fly, especially when at night, when everyone could see him shining as a comet through the starry skies, without anyone knowing it was him. He flew silently, but deep inside he felt joy, much joy. It had been a long time since he had done his job as a "comet". He smiled at little Dragons looking with amazement how a comet could be that low. He traveled over the forests, over villages and even circled around the towers of the Spire Palace for a while.
