Okay, I'll start the first conversation. What do people think about video game movies? Movies like Tomb Raider certainly paved the way, but other movies like House of the Dead, Dungeon Siege, and Doom don't appear to be helping this industry. That new Hitman movie looks rather stupid. And no, there WON'T be a Halo movie. They canceled it.

I personally think most video game movies out right stink these days, certin ones are good but most in my opinion are not very good at all. ( no offense meant to anyone who likes these games ) BTW i cant wait for ''Lair'' for ps3. just a few for weeks.

Im wondering about the Gears of War movie thats supposed to be happing ..... also making a game into a movie shouldn't be too dificult the storyline is layed out, the charters are shown clearly and the places are shown too!

Most of the ones I've seen or heard of have been kinda bad.. Ok, really bad. The only ones I have seen were Tomb Raider; it wasn't that bad, but I feel could have been better. As for the others, I'm not even going to bother watching after seeing all the feedback for it.
The Hitman movie coming out soon doesn't look too thrilling.
And if a Halo movie were to come out, even though it's not, I don't think it would've been that great.

this game isnt a video game movie but it shure is thrilling...its a game for ps3 and its called lair and the graphics are amasing.

Well even though it may appear video game movies may be easy, they often are hard because the stories are often radically changed, the action is nothing like the game, and the company that made the video game wants a ton of money for the movie.

Have any of you played the Harry Potter movie games? Sure they change the storylines radically, but they also give you lots of seceret passageways, and other things that you have to be vigilant to find.

Next favorite is the Spiderman 2 movie game, but only beacause it had so manny things to get, and the fact that I haven't played any other movie games, not even Tomb Raider, except for a demo!

Have you heard of the PSP slim?? It's going to be released this September and it his more lighter and less heavier. this PSP is going to have 64Mb of ram instead of the 32, but if you have an old PSP, don't worry, they say it is just to the loadings become faster when reading UMDs (but to be honest... who the hell uses UMDs??).

I think the only good video game movies are Resident Evil (also Apocalypse) and FF7: Advent Children. For most video games, I think they should make the movie animated. It's just my opinion, but I think they could have a lot more success if they animated it. They could do a lot more.
