[[Allrite, so he transformed into a Dragon? Things are getting weirder and weirder... but okay, good thing to find a cause for for Xenophon. Also, I post this to let you continue with the story, cuz I wanna know what the Ninja will do, so I can have some action.]]

The ninja was running at a very fast speed , because he's fast , but because of the favorable wind too.
He was already in front of the castle (Evening lake is close to the castle let's say) , avoid all guards with ease and...knock at the door , saying :
"I'm just a weaponless messenger , I need to speak to the master of this castle , I think he can't deny some new allies , don't he ?"
He prepares himself for a rapid counter-attack from the guards he infiltrated just before , even while being weaponless...

[[Actually, I told that the castle is the replacement for Lofty Castle, and it therefore near Dream Weavers. Also, sounds difficult to get to a flying castle so easy, but let's not spoil that.]]

Xenophon felt it. Another one knocking on my castle's door... why don't they just shut up?

[[As read before, Xenophon can notice it when anyone reaches the castle. He can also warp from anywhere to his castle, but not the other way round, but I am not sure if I told that clearly...]]

This time he beat Xition. He was there before his servant was. "Let me handle this." Within a second he was standing behind the Ninja. He looked at the guards. [[let's say you've beaten them]] "Right. And who may you be? Another idiotic human without any knowledge, except fighting? Because then you're done for."

Ophelia gasped as a bright light surrounded Sept and he emerged a red and black dragon. She stepped back. "OK... Um... what just happened?" Before she could say more she was distracted by people screaming, "A fire!"

She turned and saw a house that was up in violent flames. A familiar house. Ophelia felt sick. "NO! EVE!" She screamed darting forward. I am NOT losing any more of my friends! She thought growling. She jumped through the window and entered the burning house.

The little dragoness left her house and looks up at the moon "I wish..I wish I could go out there, and see the world" she looks at the streets below...who's out at this time? she thought as she looked at the shadow walking around town

The air inside the burning house was, as you'd expect, incredibly hot and stuffy. Ophelia crouched down low, as if in her hunting stance, and crept swiftly through the house.

She tried to use her ice to weaken the flames, but as soon as it left her mouth, it melted. It's no good. She thought. She was struggling; her kind was weakened by fire. She started panting and sweating.

"Eve?" She croaked over the roar of the fire. She coughed and continued. Then she heard a faint cry for help. She dashed in the direction of the sound and found Eve and her children huddled together in the corner.

"It's OK. Come on guys."
"Ophelia, take the kids."
"But Eve, I can't leave you--"
"Come back for me. Please, take them first."

Ophelia knew that there was no time to argue. Eve placed the kids on her back. She knew that the extra weight would slow her down, but she had no choice. She travelled back through the burning house the way she came, covering the children with her wings by folding them.

She finally managed to get outside. The children slid off her back and hugged each other. Ophelia said to Sept, "Look after them." At that she ran back inside the fragile house.

"Okay Ophelia , I'll , we haven't much time. These guys can't get in there , and as a fire dragon , I risk nothing."
He keep them inside his large wings , who were large enough to contain them both.
"Hold on...Good luck."

"Light traps? Hmph. You think they would catch me or you that easy? Forget it. You should leave. I've got better things to do now..."

Xenophon faded away and went to the great castle halls, the gear room and then, the Library. Enormous, high, towering bookshelves as dark as the night. Almost all of the books of the entire world (or copies of them) were in this library. Xenophon flied to the highest bookshelf, where he put the book of Darkness he got from the Magic Crafters world. Just looked ordinary between all those millions of books. Magical books, spell books, historical books and, the most important books of all, according to Xenophon, the books containing information about the four ancient elements: Light, Space, Darkness and Time. Without one of the four, the world would not exist, neither would the Distortion World.
Xenophon was not an ancient Dragon, but he had the same or even more knowledge as they have. He had read all the books, one by one, in his own castle and in his own world. Still, the mystery of humans, new heroes and dimensional distortions remained unclear. He had to know it, he just had to. After all, he thought he caused the things.

Xenophon went to the battleground-like highest tower of the castle, therefore the highest point of the world. Lightning bolts hit the tower frequently, leaving sparks, making the place look even more creepy and mysterious. Where was I... Right, the Dragon and that human... I have some time 'till that day. Full moon is within 4 days [[According to the Dragon's star calendar. Around 2 1/2 days in human time]] He took off and soared through the storms, back to Magic Crafters.

Luna was back , she breaks the silence saying :
"He finally did it. I was sure he was lying to you since you've met him."
"...Who are you talking about ?"
"Your friend , you will see when I'll free you."
"...You're not pulling my leg this time , I can't bear more than that. Just kill me , it's faster..."
"I've broken you with a single slash ? You're lying too , you're not any worthier than him."
She finally take a box full of torture instruments.
"I'll try a new torture on you , that I specially did for you. I'm sure you will like it."
She take a superb solar katana , it's a gold katana of fire and light.
"It will hurt a little , don't scream too much okay ?"
Tsumetai felt really bad. He knows the talents of his sister in this...He was scared by her and couldn't hide this.
"...I feel bad , scared and sad , what are you feeling just right now ?"
"...It was a joke ? That's not the best situation but whatever , if you feel funny..."
In fact , she didn't expect this question , especially from his brother...She breaths , and finally slash him with the katana , in order to write something on his belly , while he was screaming.
"I know that you have a name now , so because it's so important , let's write it in your own skin , you'll not forget it this way."
She let him bleeding and goes to the way to her library , saying :
"...And , please...Stop pretending you're sad."
A tear appears on the floor , behind her , before she leaves the room , quietly.

As Ophelia struggled to cope with the heat and smoke, she found the area where Eve was waiting for her. But she wasn't there.

Oh no... "EVE!" Ophelia called over the racket of the fire. She saw a hazy figure through the smoke. Coughing, she approached it. Eve was knelt down, rummaging through one of her cupboards. "Eve! Come on! Now's not the time!" Ophelia urged.

Eve stood up holding what seemed to be a large parcel. Ophelia crouched and helped Eve onto her back. She covered the fawn with her wings and tried to make her way to the door. The flames had grown and blocked it. Ophelia positioned herself, ready to leap. "Hold on tight." She told Eve. At that, she leapt straight over the flames, trying not to scream as the fire burnt her belly.

Once outside, Eve climbed off Ophelia's back and hugged her children. Ophelia looked at Sept. "Thanks for looking after the children." She smiled, then winced as she remembered her pain. Sitting down, she looked at her belly and gasped.

What was once light blue was now red and peeling. It stung badly and it hurt to move. Oh great. First my eye and now this! She thought angrily, but was glad she had saved four innocent lives.

"This time , I got lucky , that's all...but you need some cure , it's not pretty to see...I think that we have to find a place to hide everybody , I'm not at the peak of my health and you'll not last long if we get attacked..."
Then he noticed the pink ball , that he forgot to keep , and...The ninja got it before him.
"What the...I'm too slow..."
"No , speed is my speciality. I'll just take this back , it can come in handy. See ya."
"...Thanks anyways...Ophelia , let me take a look at this injury , I may stop the bleeding."
He take all the tissue of his torn armor to make a bandage.
"You can hold on , but resting is vital now , a fight with this injury will end badly...I can't take all of you in my back and fly , so we're all going to walk except you , I'll carry you on my back , follow me and stay quiet. If ennemies remains , we'll be in trouble..."

"No, I'm OK. I can walk... I think." She sat and let Sept put the bandage on her belly. She stood up slowly, wincing as her belly stung, and it felt stiff. However she did get to her feet and smiled weakly at Sept. "Thank you."

She staggered over to Eve and her kids. "Is everyone OK?"

Eve turned to her and smiled. "We can't thank you enough Ophelia." She looked at Sept. "And thank you for watching the kids." She said to him. Ophelia noticed she was still holding the parcel.

"What's that?" She asked. "Why is it so important?"

Eve said, "It's a gift that I was going to post to my good friend Damien." She said. "It's quite personal to us, and I didn't want to lose it." Eve paused. "Wait. Ophelia, would you do me a favour?" She suddenly noticed Ophelia's burns. "Oh my!"

"It's OK Eve. I'm fine. What's the favour?"

"Would you deliver this to Damien for me? He lives in the Magic Crafters world."

Ophelia's eyes grew wide. "Oh yes! I've always wanted to visit there!" She said, taking the parcel.

"Thank you." Eve said.

Ophelia turned to Sept. "Are you coming to Magic Crafters with me?" She felt very excited.

"Absolutely , I have nothing to do in there , and the ninja went in this direction...And I'm so glad to help you."
He smiled too , because he was impressed by Ophelia's endurance behind her kindness...It remembers him a sweet but hard remember , so his smile didn't last long.
"We've to go now , Tsu' can't be in there , since I didn't see his sister attacking us directly...But we'll have to stop in the first town we'll find , I need to cure my scarfs , and your injury isn't cured even if you can walk. You're endurant , like someone who was a part of me before..."
He chose to not finish his phrase , losing his smile once for all.
"Enough. I waste our time in speaking too much. Here is this way we'll go."

"You're all the same when young , asking questions...I wasn't speaking about Tsu' , that's twice that I failed in protecting him...His twin sister is pure evil now , because of them , and because I couldn't save her...She is one of the most terrifying creature in the whole world now , she could kill us in less time than I need to tell you this...No , I was speaking of someone else , who rest in peace now , don't ask me anything about that , ever. EVER . Is that clear ?!?!"
He was angry , but his sadness was more obvious than his anger...
"And that's this evil twin sister who did that to her. She was endurant but full of kindness behind , like you...She could SEE her OWN heart , beating in front of her eyes , with a poison knife through , before dying...End of the story. Now just let me , since I'm getting angry for nothing , I'll follow you later."

For the first time, Xenophon was not doing anything. He just lied down quitely in a dark cave (High Caves, to be more precise). The giant spiders didn't bother him a bit. If one came too close, he burned it, or ripped it to pieces, physical or magical. For the rest, he was just there, doing nothing bit thinking and looking over the wide landscape. He felt it. They will come very soon... then he stood up, summonned his dark sword and slaughtered another spider. The greenish-red blood flew on the ground. Stupid sppiders. Oh well, I may just have saved a little Dragon's life from that beast. He thought ironically.

He finally regains councious , and was alone. He thought , about his only friend , and his aim...
But Luna was finally back.
"I really don't know where you find all this hope in you , you give up but you still hold on...And the forces of the light , how can they sleep at night ? I don't get it. They have no power , they are less , they are weaker...and they still hope in a random hero who will save them all...Who knows if he hasn't joined the dark forces yet ?"
"We have dreams , that's why we're still living...And hope , feelings , somethings that you haven't , so you can't understand."
"Dreams ? It's nothing but an illusion...who can be broken. Hope ? A simple optimist vision , it's meaningless. Feelings ?...They're why we are so easy to corrupt. You're not the best in this domain , that's why I can't corrupt you."
"...So why torturing me ?"
"You deserve it , you can't even make a decision by yourself , I'm just helping you. I chose to show you what is pain. We can't live without it , that's the only feeling remaining for me."
"...And I thought I was sad...Stop everything , I'll protect you from the others and we'll have our ancient life again..."
"We'll finish both killed. People don't forget when it's their friends' life who is taken. I'll stop all this show. My world...will be a new one , construct where the planet is now. I'll kill everybody , and create thinkless and perfect creatures to keep the life...No ; there will be no survivors , not even me. I'll destroy the world."
She uses water to inondate his brother , before using his other element...
"I hope you like tickles."
He understood why just now...he wasn't feeling any better than before.
She concentrate herself...and let all the electricity come out , causing most parts of his brother's body to be paralysed.
"Do you feel it ? This pain ? Cry now. I'm not going to manage you anyways. The next time we'll meet , it will be for a final fight , who will last until one of us die. I free you now , I absolutely don't care of the consequences it will cause. I've told all the guards , they'll send you away from here. Your friend will show you what I've talked about all this time , you'll see. Now I let the "fate" decide for you..."
He was sended away , and couldn't move after being let in the grass , his legs were just too paralysed. He was even more desperate now , after what she said...He couldn't hold on more and fall , uncounscious again , somewhere around the castle of the Evening Lake.

Ophelia dropped the parcel off at the town hall so it was safe. Then she spent quite some time checking that everyone was OK and that no one else's home had been destroyed.

Strange how the humans left so quickly. She thought. Still, Sept and I are the only dragons here, so they probably feared us... And, strangely, there was not a huge amount of damage. Just a few houses that had been trashed.

She offered to help many families to tidy their homes, but she was either rudely dismissed or the family seemed to fear her and slammed the door in her face. At first she was puzzled but then thought that the fact she was covered in black soot, had a bloody scar and a burnt belly had something to do with it...

Ugh, I must look a right mess. She thought scowling. After some more wandering and more doors slamming, she returned to the town hall, picked up the parcel, and sat outside the hall waiting for Sept.

Jade looked down at her in discust and got out her claw about to kill "..im..Jade" she lowerd her claw as the dragoness Jumped in fear jade ALMOAST fell sorry for her "..your safe..i just need young blood to bargin with...thats all..so lila, your safe"the little droness looked up

"SILENCE LILA!" jade screamed "NOW GO GET SOME WOOD THE FIRES DIEING OUT!!!!"

Ophelia found out that she stank of smoke too. Not good. No wonder no one came near me. Glancing down an empty side street, she saw a large puddle, since it had been raining the night before. Smiling she staggered down there, her belly stiff and stinging.

She reached the puddle. After taking a drink, she stood inside it. Her legs collapsed underneath her and she lay, belly down in the cold water. It felt a relief to her burn, she felt the pain being washed away. After some time she stood up. Since the puddle was quite deep, she rolled over, like a playful puppy, and washed her back of the soot and ash.

Afterwards, she returned to the town hall. Can't be dirty on the job. She thought grinning. She resumed waiting for Sept.
