Name:Zeel (Pronounced like the word zeal)
Age: 19
Appearance: Blue scales, with gray wings and underside, and straight, white horns. His wings are somewhat larger than normal.
Gender: Male
Powers: Can breathe fire, good sense of hearing, and scales and wings are more resilient than that of an average dragon.
Personality:He's not afraid to make hard decisions. Usually spends his time thinking. Tends to be sarcastic when he gets angry.
Background: Decided to split from his mostly sedentary family and travel around. He occasionally does jobs for any form of reward he finds suitable.
Strengths: Great flyer and hunter.
Weaknesses: Tends to be restless and uneasy many times, occasionally suffers from insomnia. Also, firebreath isn't as strong as a normal dragon's.

Tell me anything you don't like, and I'll change it.

Faly got to his feet, dusted his front off, and streached his back and arms by placing his palms on the ground and pushing his hips into the air, making a sort of arch out of his body. He then kicked off his feet and fliped to an upright and standing pose. This brought him face to face with his current savior... and he made an internal sigh. The dragon before his was larger then he had hoped. With him standing the beast still towered over him in a menacing fasion, even better, when the dragon looking him, he felt a numb-like sensation, like the ground benith his feet was sinking, falling right from below him boots. Pushing these inital fears of dread and doom aside, Faly thought to reach out to his newest benifactor.

"You mentioned something about training to become a warrior?", Faly asked, a twinkle of hope in his eyes, "Would that include the tactical involvement in a millatary setting...?". He let the question stand for a moment, noticing that the dragon wasn't noticing him, he continued, "You know, like a general...or a commander... or a sargent?"

It was a badly kept secret that Faly had always wanted to be a great leader in the army. Someone who sat back and let others do the fighting at his descrection, to be one of the great tactical geniusses of his time. To command an army powerful enough to engulf the entirity of the planet. But, he had never been raised into a family that could afford to make him a great leader... in truth, there wasn't much the family he was born into could afford, espessially another child.

(O.O.C. go easy with the posting, as when you all start posting, it seems to e somethng like 1 or 2 in the morning in my part of the world, thus, quite a pain to respond to your post is a timely manner)

Slinx flew out to the skies and decides to take a look around. he again spots Aura and flies down.

Ulkan turned his attention back to the human, who had stood up and was dusting himself down. He sat, tapping his tail on the ground impatiently. Then, the human spoke.

"Sargent? Commander?" Ulkna laughed coldly. "I wouldn't go that far. I merely meant you can join my army and TRAIN. Not become one instantly." Ulkna stood up and looked the human straight in his eyes. They are puny creatures... He thought, looking the human up and down briefly. When we are both standing he only comes up to my shoulder. How on earth could he be a warrior? I could break his ribs with my tail, for crying out loud! I wanted his kind in my army in a large number! What was I thinking?!

Ulkna sighed and looked at the human's eyes again. He couldn't help but notice a glimmer in his eyes. This human was serious.

"Bah!" Ulkna exclaimed. "Alright then, if you want to join, go ahead. I'll see how you go. However..." He leaned down so his head was level with that of the human. "If you dare disobey, oppose or commit any offence against me... trust me, you will be punished severely. Am I clear?"

Buck was on the path watching the dragon, scanning him. He also saw that a human was there asking him question. Something about a leader, a military leader.. Buck snickered. Like a dragon would need a human leader. Buck looked up and heard the dragon reply. He accepted. Buck raised a eyebrow. He looked up to the tree and saw a flash of Jun's scales and knew where she was. Buck then took a step forward and started to walk. He looked down and walked slowly. He looked like a monk then anything else. His moved forward slowly. Getting closer to the dragon.

Jun watched was buck moved.
"Why?" she thought to herself.
She hopped down a branch to see what he was doing. she knew it would end badly but she was there in case it did. she could easily tell this dragon was important, evil and feared. Strangely that made her give him respect. She shock her head and watched as Buck as he was at the side of the dragon, carefully not bumping into him.

Ulkna waited for the human to reply. He saw something, also small and insignificant, to his left. He slowly turned his head, so he could see the creature clearly. He groaned. Oh for crying out loud, what now?!

He raised an eyebrow (not that dragons have any hair...) and his face remained expressionless. "...Well? What is it human?" He barked.

Buck looked up. He looked at the dragon then carried on walking. then after he got a meter a head he turn and looked at the Dragon. He took a breath. Jun knew what she was meant to do ad fly down from the branch.
"Hello, sorry to interrupt but where passing though, sorry for disturbing you." Jun said bowing her head lightly.
Buck smirked and nodded. He looked at the humen before he made a hand motion for Jun to come.
"I'll see you later then." she said with a smirk. She bowed to him before she turnned and ran back to Buck.

Buck had study the dragon and found his weakness. Incase he ever had to hurt the dragon he was fine with it. They both walked slowly away from the dragon but still close incase he had to ask them something.

"What the hell was all that about? You just come, make pleasantries and go? Interesting..." He said, following them slowly. "Why do I feel like you are up to something?"

The voice was back - Ulkna was still unsure of whether it was his conscience or something else... They are trouble. Kill them and be done with them. Ulkna gave his glare to the human's torso. That's it. Now pull. And get the dragoness too. She is just as guilty. Ulkna did not move. Do it!

He instinctively followed the order and slowly pulled...

((OOC: Just a quick notice guys, a few people have said they are having trouble following. If, say, your character comes across another, SAY WHO IT IS THEY HAVE SEEN. Some people, me included, have been getting a little confused. Just a little heads up. wink ))

"Well, if it isn't mr. Dark Master there aiming for another target." Link whispered. He was standing next to Ulkna. "Why are you looking for those Dragons. Deep inside, I see that you do not want to do so..." Link guessed. I hope this will work... he thought nervously, but didn't show it. "Still, you're just another great enemy. And enemies get beaten, right? Are you sure you know what you're doing?" Let's hope he recognizes me as a non-light Dragon... It's the only thing I can think of to protect others...

Ulkna was suddenly distracted by a voice. Oh f***ing hell... He turned and saw a dragon standing beside him. "Oh it's you. Why don't you keep your snout out of other people's business? What has this got to do with you? I am a king fulfilling his duties. Nothing more." He snorted, quite satisfied, and tried to ignore his conscience... or was it? Kill him! He opposes you! "Get lost kid, before you lose your head."

"I won't lose my head, never." Link smiled. "You're quite aggressive aren't you? You should change that behaviour. It will lead to things you will not like." As he silently prepared his Dark sword, he looked sharply at Ulkna. "I won't oppose you. Sure not, continue with what you were doing. But if you try to kill me, you must expect me to fight back." Self-defense. Nothing wrong with that, right? Words can create anger... he thought quickly, identifying Ulkna and preparing for an attack. "You've heard me. I won't leave, but I won't stop you from leaving."

"Careful kid. I can kill you before you even know what's happening. Don't get cocky, you'll regret it." Ulkna snarled, instinctively eyeing the dragon's neck. "Me and the human were discussing business, I didn't intend to harm him." Well... not yet. "So if you wanna play hero, go ahead, but I will not play nice. Do you even know what I am capable of?" He heard rustling in the bushes to his left. "I'll show you."

Ulkna used his advanced vision and spotted a small brown rabbit nearby, oblivious to the action, and nibbling on some grass. A mad grin of pleasure spread across Ulkna's face. He glared at the rabbit's neck and pulled using his mind. ((WARNING: BLOODY BIT!)) Before the rabbit could even look up, it's head was ripped straight off its neck. Blood spurted everywhere and the rabbit's headless body fell. Ulkna psychically held the head in the air, and turned it so it's dull, unblinking eyes were staring at the dragon.

"Ha!" Ulkna cried with delight and dropped the head with a thump. "Believe me now weakling?"

unabridged version, Faly shot an iron infused arrow at Link, from a tree, with the cover of a smokescrean

Faly was somewhat dumbstruck by the dragon's responce. He felt a rush of joy, his eyes closed in happyness. "A Commander," he thought, in a daze, "A Commander..."

Colum opened his eyes, still in a haze of happyness, to a strange sight. A monk was slowly ambling past him. Head bowed, slow, steady, almost planned out steps, folded arms, sylent, robed, hooded. "Yup," Colum thought, joy fadeing away like water evaporating in the hot sun, "either a monk or a really good assassin/actor hybred... might be able to learn a thing or two from him."

Before he could get a chance to call out to the monk, the dragon called the monk, "...Well? What is it human?" the dragon barked.

"Hello, sorry to interrupt but where passing though, sorry for disturbing you." a dragon said (seemeing to have popped out of nowhere) said bowing her head lightly.

The monk smirked and nodded. He looked at Colum before he made a hand motion for the young female dragon to come.

"I'll see you later then." she said with a smirk. She bowed to him before she turnned and ran back to the monk's side.

Colum had a few emoutins run through him in a rapid succession. First was suprise, the Monk and dragon had flitted into his sight at an amazing rate, next confusion, the two had flitted right back out in just as rapid a succession. Last was... joy, surpise, shock, annoyance, he couldn't tell. All he could shurely tell was the cause, the small female dragon that accompanyed the Monk.

"What the hell was all that about? You just come, make pleasantries and go? Interesting..." said Coulm's (as he wished to be addressed) "master", following them slowly. "Why do I feel like you are up to something?"

Before those words had full left the giant Dragons mouth, something appeared (not how the monk had faded into sight through the shadows, more of a "now you see me" type of appeared). Causeing another spasm of shock, and an instinctive move to take cover behind the larger dragon.

Colum was just thinking sometihng along the lines of, " These two seem to have some intresting history between them..." when his vision went red. Well, more of a pink, the blood from the decaptated rabbit splashed into Colum's eyes, this new danger (or presumed dagner) gave Colum a fresh feeling of fear.

Faly kicked his feet out from under him, backfliped, and crouched, his left and right hand poised at his left hip, in preperation for a fight. BLinking the blood out of his eyes, Faly murlely saw something odd. The dragon that was takeing him (metaphorclly) under his giant, dark wing holding something aloft for the world to see, wile the other, new and strange dragon was taking stance.

"To strike..." thought Faly, moving to intercept the dragon that stood against his newfound benefactor. The young man dashed in a zig zag moution, moving left to right, left to right, left to right, trying to be evasive. When in striking distance, the man through a vial containing dryed ice at the ground. The vial shattered, creating a smokescrean. Faly used this momentary distraction to his advantage, climbing a tree he sat in the top brach, ponted his finger at the dragon that was not his dark benefactor, pulled back the tiny bowstring, and fired the itty-bitty, iron speckled, missile praying that it would strike home and bring down the beast.

(OOC thank you for not all posing when im not here, it was nice to not have to read through 2 pages of info before being able to react to the plot)

"I never said I didn't believe you. Of course I do. You are powerfull, I know that. I've seen you before you know?" Link suddenly felt a sharp pain. Darn it! Does this guy have some sniper or something? He thought as he looked at the arrow and looked at the smokescreen. "Allright then..." he said angry. "Go on, continue what you were doing, but don't forget about what I said." within the pain there was a bit of a smile. "I've got something else to handle here..." he spreaded his wings and took off through the smokescreen. "Very well, idiot. Where are you and why do you serve the Darkness...?" He aimlessly threw the arrow back at some point, and he hit something. Could be a tree... he thought. "C'mon fool, show yourself."

The iron shaft bounced harmlessly off one of the many branches of the tree Faly was crouched in, making a metallic sound as it shattered from the force of the throw. THe peices of the shaft and tail flecked harmlessly off Falys skin as the peices were so tiny (as the arrow was ment to be, shatter on contact so to never be used against the little theif), that is to say, all but one.

The arrowhead, formed of pure iron, danced thought the air in such a way that the tip raked across Falys uncovered neck, carving an ungly gash along the left side of his neck.

Faly felt himself falling back, acting swiftly, he jerked a dagger free from the folds of his cloak and stabbed the tree. He had balence for a moment, enough balence to manage to get down from the tree without crashing into the ground, but his movements were not as sqift as they normally were. With one hand pressed against the freshly bleeging wound, Faly sat benith the tree, leaning against the stump.

"Did it cut the vein?" he wondered faintly, as he looked at his blood covered hand, then at his blood covered vest, soon after that, his blood soaked pants, then, faintly, at his blood filled boots. His vision went blurry, sounds became faint, the world became dark."

This is not where I die," a voice that was faintly flimilar spoke, "I am not allowing myself to die here," Faly saw his blood soaked hands come back into focus, "Death is an excape, a hiding place for cowards," Faly felt his legs holding him, but diddn't remember standing, "and I am no coward..." Colum spoke, notching another arrow and pressing himslef against the tree, in an attempt to stay hidden in the small amount of fog left.

All the boy felt was searing pain, and anger towards himself, a blind rage at allowing himself to be weak enough to contemplate dying for even a moment.
