Yes, she thinks Edward is real.

Also, my gf dragged me to see the movie last saturday. The only thing that made watching this crap bearable was the werewolf parts.

Werewolves = Badass Mutha-Shut-Yo-Mouths

Vampires = Gay Monsters That Sparkle

I second that statement

Stephenie Meyer happened.

On a lighter note, there is something about Stephenie that I actually like; she's modest. People often compare her to J. K. Rowling. Meanwhile Stephenie herself said this: ""It's terribly flattering to be compared to her, but there's never going to be another J.K. Rowling; that's a phenomenon that's not gonna happen again"

What I cannot believe, however, is that the Twilight series beat out the Harry Potter series for the 2009 Kids' Choice Awards for Favorite Book. Honestly, that's absurd.

Re: Twilight & New Moon

I wish I could say Smeyer was modest, but in reality her ego is larger than her undeserved pile of cash.

She's always going on about how much better her characters are than everyone else's. According to her, Edward Cullen would beat Harry Potter in a fight in three seconds, and Edward and Bella's romance is a better love story than Romeo and Juliet, The Princess Bride, Wuthering Heights, and a lot more. Not to mention the whole Midnight Sun fiasco where she refused to finish writing the book just because part of it got leaked on the internet.

Trying to find the articles where she states this, but I know she has.

Re: Twilight & New Moon

Edward beat Harry in three seconds? Right... even though Harry has shown the capability of using the Cruciatus Curse. Edward wouldn't stand a chance. Oh, and we can't forget about Sectumsempra. Edward would end up sucking his own blood after that.

Yes because we saw that Patterson was completely immune to that spell in the fourth Harry Potter movie tongue

Re: Twilight & New Moon

Well, I finally got dragged to this thing, might as well sum it up.

The effects were a lot better than the first one, most of them, anyways;;

So Edward leaves and Bella's all like "OH NOES" and then she keeps trying to get a feel of rush for her insane imagination to picture Edward, including jumping on the back of some dude's bike (HELLO??? COMMON SENSE DEAR, DON'T DO THIS!) so she repairs motorcycles with Mr Werewolf and when she tries it out she falls off and her face gets smashed by a rock so she's just mass bleeding because of her stupidity; then a few days later Mr Werewolf stops seeing her after "promising he'll never hurt her" so she finds him and he's all like "LOLNO SCREW OFF" so she goes into her overdramatic depression again. She runs off to some old field and Mr Dreadlock tries to kill her, but then the wolves come out and bite his head off, and she runs back. I forgot to add, every night in her sleep, she screams like she's giving birth. It's like...what? Okay... Then she jumps off a cliff after she's being chased one day and gets pulled out by Mr Werewolf, and when they get home Mr Sparkly Eyebrow's sister is there and she said Edward's gonna sparkle in the middle of the day to a bunch of people so he can be killed because he thinks that Ms Whine is dead. They go to a rush to go save him from his magic sparkles, and they get taken to some room where I'm assuming the kings of the vampires or something sit, and Ms Whine is immune to all of the vampire's powers. They say she dies or she must become a vampire. Then they're back in a forest at home and Mr Sparkly Eyebrows and Mr Werewolf have a fight but once Mr Werewolf leaves then Edward says "I SHALL ONLY CHANGE YOU UNDER ONE CONDITION AND THAT IS IF YOU MARRY ME" and the movie ends abruptly right there.

One of the good things, though, is that they skipped through three months within the span of three minutes.

My uncle and I were saying that she should've said "NAW OF COURSE NOT" then some cheesy happy music could play on the credits C:

I'm sorry... did I just read that correctly? Sexy? SEXY!? Good Heavens... that's a bit much, don't you think? Sicking Robert Pattinson on everyone like that... *shudders* There is NO way that Edward is "sexy." Besides, Dracula in the books had a refined, aristocratic look and charm to disguise his evil nature.

Re: Twilight & New Moon

I found a spinoff series to Twilight today. It's called Twishite(the british slang for sh*t) and New Moon is called New Moan, the cover is black with a picture of false vampire teeth and it's written by Stephanie Mayo
