Re: Spyro Wallpaper Database
Oh... to bad having to share a computer with someone... even with the own family (In the past I was like you, but now I have my own computer)...
The only thing I don't like to share is my computer. It's my personal world... well someone that uses computers almost everyday must know that.

Oh, well if is that the problem... I can't do anything. Well, she can create another user account (IMO don't do that, it'll screw up your computer).

Re: Spyro Wallpaper Database
It won't screw up anything, just allow you to have your own preferences on your own account.

Well, I had many experiences with slow computers because of trash and that, and that's a method that I don't like, especially if you like to install many programs...

Re: Spyro Wallpaper Database
Well, thats a slow computer. It doesn't make a difference as long as when you logoff when your done and don't use the "switch user account" thing that lets you switch user accounts fast.

Re: Spyro Wallpaper Database
Yes, you're right.
I heard that in Linux you don't have that accout/speed problems... Some people say it's way better than Windows.

Re: Spyro Wallpaper Database
Linux is getting really good now. Ubuntu is pretty nice.
Windows only has speed issues if you don't logoff, and only use the switch user "feature".

Re: Spyro Wallpaper Database
Yeah because of the RAM... Windows Vista is very bad because of usage of RAM, although it has good management

Re: Spyro Wallpaper Database
I only use XP. I do not plan on switching to vista ever.
(Anyways, this is getting a little bit too off topic.)

LOL
Yeah, me too, I only use XP, but I have tried Vista and I don't like it because instead of being you controlling the computer, with Vista, it is the computer that controls you, and that's very annoying. Maybe one day I'll switch to Vista... maybe when I got 2 Gbs of RAM (lol). It isn't proven yet that DX10 is better than 9. Anyways they should release the SP1 to put the SO more stable. OK, I'm shutting up.
