She could hear more voices, and they were getting closer. Her eyes previously felt like they were glued together, but now that glue seemed to be melting...

Slowly, she flickered her eyes and opened them. Her vision was blurred and all she could see were shadows. Most seemed to be staring. Others couldn't seem to stand up properly. Some dragons were trying to usher them away.

"Huh?" She grunted and raised her head slightly. Her neck throbbed and she winced. Then she realised she was on someone's back. Surprised, she jumped, but then rolled off the dragon's back and landed roughly on the ground. She glanced up at this dragon. "Pridewing?" She gasped. "Where are we?"

She lifted her paw and felt her neck. Crimson liquid ran down her paws. "Ugh, great..." She staggered to her feet and looked at Ornlu. "...Did you carry me all the way here?"

Ophelia scowled and steadied herself. She forced a smile at Ornlu. "Well... thanks I guess."

She glanced at Zith and said nothing. That flashback she had troubled her deeply.

She glanced around the village. Some people had stopped staring and continued to try and swat the bandits away. A large green dragon caught her eye.

"Oh! Hey, over here!" She called.

((OOC: Visty, I know that it wasn't Zith in the flashback, but can she suspect that it was?))

Mull had played her cards well. She'd had information and what everyone else had seen as a suicidal nature. That made her "a very useful friend to have". She'd just had to return a few choice artefacts, and they acted as if she was a leader of some form of resistance. If they really thought that, she wouldn't argue.

And now all of a sudden, she had found that what people thought of you impacted severely on what you were, regardless of what some idiotic poets said, on the basis that it sounded nice and rhymed well. She'd been woken up in someone's cellar. Elois, that was the lady's name. She'd lost one of her three daughters when the soldiers came. Not lost as in dead, just lost. Lost as in gone missing. Didn't make a difference. From what Mull could see, it just made things worse.

"Mull?"
"Gnia?"
"Yes'm."
"What's happening in the sunlight?"
"There's a big commotion at the road inn. It's only a matter of time before some of those men catch the scent."
"Why tell me?"
The girl shrugged.
"Fine."

Mull donned her cloak. She was sure a handful of those soldiers had seen her in her first confrontation. Best be safe. She left by the servant's door. It had obviously been a rich town once. Maybe it still is, she thought. She took down her hood when she approached the crowd, and immediately regretted it.

"Hey, over here!"
Oh bugger.
"All right, you're attracting too much attention. Follow me. And the rest of you," Mull stated to the crowd, rather sharply, "You trying to pull them big boys down on us?"

Ophelia's posture seemed to be returning to normal - she was no longer staggering and leaning to one side. She approached the green dragon smiling warmly. Although Ophelia didn't like her very much, she was happy to see she was safe. The green dragon barked commands at villagers and turned to walk away.

"Hey! I'm glad to see you are OK. What's going on here?" She paused. "And what's your name? I never got it."

Mull sighed. Honestly, people had such strange priorities.
"If it'll make you happy, I was named Mull. Now, pleasentries aside, you need to move." Mull inspected the other dragons. "Honestly, can't you hang out with more inconspicuous people? The things I endure..."
Mull turned around grumbling and plodded back to the house. They'd need different houses later, she thought. I have to do everything round here.

Ophelia cocked her head and frowned. "Sorry, but why can't you just be nice to me?"

She ignored Ornlu's comment and looked at Zith after his question. "Why do you need action? We are here to help the citizens. If you wanna go and kill something then go ahead!" She snapped.

She was suddenly feeling very irritable. She glared at Mull as she walked away. "And I'm gonna help you whether you like it or not."

At that she turned and walked away. I'm gonna have to get this neck treated beforehand... She thought as it started throbbing again. She wandered over to a home with a small family. They looked at her suspiciously.

"It's OK." She forced a smile. "I was just wondering if you could help me?"
