Re: Plotholes in DotD
That idea is certainly understandable to some...I personally don't care either way...but many other fans would despise the idea.

Hmmm... seems unnecessary to make him an adult. He's already proven he can fight circles around everyone else as is.

Re: Plotholes in DotD
Because most likely we have been....seeing as how it's been discussed for the past couple of months now. I don't think they would go that far anyways.

Re: Plotholes in DotD
Ugh, this is why they need to make some sort of announcement, we're running out of things to discuss.

lol yeah.. It's old and I didn't even care to argue it any more.. not that there was a point in doing it in the first place

Re: Plotholes in DotD
this is what happened
the time crystal spyro and cynder and sparx were trapped in didnt give them food or water or even toilet breaks so all that stress and stuff changed their apperenace.
the guardians got bored waiting for them 3 to come back so they went to the gym. hense they massive paws they have and extremely large muscules
cynder thought that her jewlery looked awesome, so spyro used ice breath to make her new ones then they cleaned them up and made them shiny

Re: Plotholes in DotD
I blame Sierra for ruining the final chapter of the LoS trilogy, it was their idea for switching game developers and changing character designs before merging with Activision.

Re: Plotholes in DotD
I wouldn't call it ruined, but the lack of consistency is a definite point against it.

While I understand that there may be minor plotholes, I think you guys are being a little too critical about it

Re: Plotholes in DotD
wanna know a BIG plot hole?
in ANB Malefor (aka the dark master) was trapped in CONVEXITY, in a PRISON wanted to be freed and cynder could do it.
then
in TEN Malefor created the Mountain of Malefor and then was trapped inside THAT and the CELESTIAL MOONS had to free him
then
in DOTD Malefor sed that Spyro freed him from the well of souls... and cynder tricked him to doing that... im completeley lost now... what was my point?

Re: Plotholes in DotD
Malefor was released from Convexity at the end of ANB, and when the inter dimension collapsed upon itself he wasn't freed into the physical world but instead as an evil spirit trapped within the well of souls. From there, yes he was freed by Spyro on accident and proceeded to do what he wanted in DotD.

Re: Plotholes in DotD
But that leaves a very interesting question that has yet to be asked.... HOW WAS MALEFOR IMPRISONED IN CONVEXITY? The backstory on Malefor is pretty much non-existent. And don't anyone dare tell me that that crappy little story that the Chronicler told Spyro in TEN was good enough for a backstory for Malefor because it wasn't. The whole problem with the LOS trilogy as a whole is that Malefor was built up to be this major threat of a villain but in the end he ended up a dull, cookie-cutter villain with a boring 'I am going to destroy the world' plan. Then again I hated how the whole trilogy played out. There was more then enough story present to do more then one trilogy of games had they been really serious about really making Spyro better then his original 'counterpart'. The whole storyline of trilogy had plotholes in it. It wasn't just DotD.
