I hate multiplayer on a console, a console should never have:

a) FPS games
b) Internet
c) Multiplayer

A) Aiming with an analogue stick is a b**ch and a half. FPS games on consoles tend to lag.

B) How in God's green Earth did the internet jump to the console? Xbox Live is fine but the PS3 going to websites??? HTF do you do that???

C) Three words: F**KING SPLIT SCREEN!

With a PC:

A) Keyboard and mouse makes it easier as you can aim properly

B) You have a keyboard which makes it easier to get onto sites, same with the mouse

C) When you LAN or play online you can see YOUR screen and ONLY YOUR screen. None of this split screen crap

I'm not. It's just fun when I checked for updates last time, Internet became free. I only watched it once and it turns out to be crap. I can better use a keyboard. It's faster, and you can play games with it, which you can't with the Wii. No, The games I play online are just MKWii and SSBB.

I like the Wii for the games, not necessarily the extraneous content. The internet on the Wii sucks a lot for instance. Also, the majority of game genres I dislike are usually concentrated within Xbox and PS3 games anyways.

Theres like 5 posters in this thread -.-. Xbox 360 because it does have good games, BUT the xbox has TERRIBLE (very much so in caps) manufactoring problems. I had to send mine back twice to Microsoft to get them to fix it. The Wii will never be great since you come home from work to 'unwind' and play computer games, and waving your arms around in the air doesn't really constitute for 'unwinding'

I have yet to use the PS3, however the BluRay is only effective if you have a TV capable of producing the quality of BluRay and these TVs are quite expensive, and its much better buying PC since they are superiior

Since when was "unwinding" a factor in determining how good a console is? Just change your wording a bit. "The Wii will never be great to you..."

Also, some people play not to relax as you've suggested, but conversely play for the adrenaline.

For the money Xbox... but I'll stick to the PC... lol... I don't like shooting games much at all...

Wii is good but it gets a little repetitive... somebody is giving me something.... PS3

360 has all the same games except the shooters.... I don't like them anyhow...

Anyone heard of the new "MAG"? It's an FPS, and the first game to support a 256-player online battle. And more importantly, it's PS3 only. Won't be out till January, so until then, COD6 will have the war games field to itself, pretty much, but it's nice to see a little competition.

How exactly? As far as I gather, Ghost recon is a good shooter, with interesting layers of strategy, though I don't know much about it.

MAG is a revolutionary challenge to the current king of the hill (or king of the kill, if you have the sense of humour of a ten year old) call of duty. It has a more developed ranking system than ever before, a good faction style background, and the 256.

I'm pretty sure they're nothing alike.

The PS3 has Blu-Ray so I'll use that, but I hate the controllers so that leads me to the ecksbawkes 360 they have comfortable controllers, so I'd probably get both
