I prefer playing as Blink, closely followed by Spyro.

It's nice just to take a break from the main game and destroy a few giant spiders... though I did scream the first time I saw one jump out at me in Crocodile Swamp. lol

I love ALL the playable characters in YOTD! Although, Sgt. Byrd's levels are kinda irritating. Other then that, I love them all, and they need more recognition! smile

I think I must go for spyro on this one. But must admit I quite enjoyed Blink and Sgt. Bryd. sgtbyrd I think Hunter is really cool though hunter

Playing as Agent 9 in Year of the Dragon was a great moment for me and ranks really high when it comes to level experiences. It's a shame that his attitude got really toned down in the GBA games he appeared in, but at least it wasn't as bad as Sgt Byrd (whom lost his ability to fly for some strange reason) and Bentley (who didn't become a playable character since... aww).
In a more universal term, my vote's for Hunter. In the games he was in he still showed himself as a fun-loving character and was placed in a great arrangement of situations. Year of the Dragon portrayed him well enough with the sheep saucer events, and A Hero's Tail expanded on the archer concept from one of the orb challenges in Spyro 2, so I can say that he was given some strong and thorough execution on how to play around as him.
