OOC: So bored... I go through RPs so much faster than other people. Suppose I'll turn these bandit bad boys round for you lot.

Mull was annoyed, because it appeared that someone else was right. That sort of thing was antisocial, being right more than people who were more qualified to be right. General bad manners, that was obvious.

The not-bandits had raided a few villages, ones that weren't paticularily rich or important, and now were heading for Cindran, one of the biggest cities on the continent. Perhaps the distraction theory was correct. She wasn't done yet though. Why attack such frontier lands? This still didn't seem right, and till it did, she'd been on it like a dog on a sausage seller.

"Well obviously there's Mitch and Zephyr. And..." She hesitated. "How do I know I can trust you? I think you've proven yourself to be a bad character. I feel that mentioning names betrays my friends. And anyway, what have they got to do with this?"

For once, Ophelia had nothing to say. She knew he was right, but refused to believe it. No... they wouldn't... Nathan? "NO!" She suddenly blurted. "He would never do that. I looked after him!"

She sighed and tried to calm down. She looked back up at Pridewing. "Are you just trying to upset me further? Because I really don't need this. I have lived most of my life alone. I have made no enemies. Why would someone, who I've never met before, want me dead?"

"And anyway," She continued, "Why do you need to ask me questions when all you have to do is go and find out? How am I going to give you a straight answer?"

"I don't try to upset dracidons further. If I want to be done with them, I jsut leave. No, I feel obliged to help now that I failed." He thought for a second, "Becuase I need to know who they are. If i randomly ask if your their friend, I'd look rather odd and some may figure out you're still alive. I'm sure you won't want another hunting you, right? I'm actually as kind as they come."

(Dracidons is what I use as a substitiue for 'people'.)

Zithdaitoh lay in a forest clearing, resting. Now, however, he opened his eyes and looked up.

Night's coming already... With that thought, he got up and headed off into the trees, moving silently, as shadow dragons do at night.

Zephyr was sitting on a flat rock on a nearby hill. He watched the stars. Tomorrow we will be there. He thought, but he was not very sure about it. After this long trip the others obviously need some rest. It's not the time now. Suddenly he noticed: What? Is star just moving? Yes, it does. Must be some kind of meteor... No, how foolish can I be.

But the star was coming closer, and it looked like it was heading for the mountains. A sudden explosion and an eye-blinding flash appeared, but Zephyr remained silent and calm. It has hit the city, of course. This was all part of their plan. He went into the forest to warn the others. "We must go, now. The meteor has hit the city, we have to get there as fast as possible."[/i]

OOC: A meteor? Seriously? The city'll be utterly devastated. No survivors. If a meteor is big enough to get through the atmosphere, then it'll have the force of an atomic bomb. That puts the cat among the pigeons and no mistake.

Mull was shocked. A meteor? Ridiculous, no mere band of outlaws could ever call down a meteor. You'd need extremely talented dragons to pool their resources, and even then it'd take so much time. Mull was deliberately ignoring the damage a meteor would do to a population like Cindran's. She'd be surprised to find a single survivor. Or at least she would if she'd given the matter a thought. For now, just follow the warband. Just follow the warband.

OOC: I don't know much about meteors, but I think Aceedwin is probably right. After all, most meteors would burn up in the atmosphere, right? One that is big enough to get through would be falling from a great height, and I shouldn't wonder if it's also quite hot.

(Metors are very destructive and can decimate anything within three miles of it if it strikes good enough. I thbink we'd all be dead.

((I know, and I expected such reactions. A meteor irl would kill even us, if it passes through the atmosphere. In fact, meteors enter our atmosphere continuously, but burn away. I know this meteor impact is impossible, I know we would all be dead, I know this would destroy the environment over there. But, please, have a little imagination. Without imagination your life is useless, trust me. I don't play RP's in a too realistic way, so, well, if I need to change it, tell me.))

OOC: Poetic licence is all very well, but you can't just change gravity. I can imagine it only decimating the city and not killing you guys, but that's as far as I'm willing to budge. There are no survivors in something like that.

Ophelia heard a horrific boom and jumped to her feet in surprise. A huge cloud of smoke and ash rose from the mountain. As it cleared slightly, she saw a massive hole in the side of the mountain, right where Cindran is - or was.

"Oh no!" She cried. "W-Was that a meteor? No one could've survived that!" She felt tears burn her eyes. "There must be over half a million people at least... The poor souls..."

She looked at the others, who were in just as much shock. "Come on! We must get away from here. I think..." She paused. "I think there is a village to the west. We should go there and make sure no one is panicking."

She looked up at Pridewing. "Are you coming? It's not safe here."

Mitch looked at the now large mountainside with Ophelia. He was stunned for awhile "Poor souls." he muttered. "Looks like we have a change of plan." he thought in his head. "You really want to go to the west?" He asked Ophelia. He had heard many thing before. He had never traveled there. It was off his sense of know. He blinked and looked to the west. The night sky was calm but in the distance, there where screams. He felt a small tear form in his eyes. He rubbed it quickly.

Ah, he thought, that was the city of Cindran, was it not? Fancy them meeting such an end as that... He laughed to himself, not caring about the city's fate.

"Well, we don't really know where to go any more." She told Mitch. "The village is near the mountainside, so there's bound to be panic. I'm thinking that if we go there we can help them. And if they insist on evaluating, then we can assist and protect them."

She paused and raised her head high. She heard the screams too. Another raid?! She thought bewildered. What's wrong with the world?

"We should at least go there and see what's going on. We can't let yet more innocent people die."

She looked up at Pridewing after his comments. "If you are done joking about such a serious matter, we have to get going. Come if you wish, but any bad moves and you're out."
