When Did you First hear Of The Spyro Series?

I first came across spyro when i was 5, smile and ive been playing it ever since, not gonna stop me big_smile

When I got the game for Christmas the year it came out. The original pawns all other versions.

Technically the internet is larger than most people assume, you just have to look very hard. There are Spyro fans out there, old, and new, and they are waiting out there. I bet they didn't even notice that there's a Spyro forum in the internet, IMO. I think some of the people talk about Spyro in IGN, Gamespot, and Gamespy, and I seen some of them. As I said, just look around. yikes

I was stuck with one of the earlier games, I forget which exactly, and I was hooked.

I was probably 5 years old at the time I first played the original Spyro the Dragon at my cousin's house. Then the next day when I visited, the had Spyro 2... and the next day Spyro 3... then the next day they didn't have a new game. It wasn't until Christmas of that year that I got a PSone and Spyro 3. It was my first videogame.<3

I started on April 27, 2000 (7th birthday). This is when I first heard about video games also. When I seen my brother (at age 15 at the time) play a video game, I wasn't sure what he was playing.

He told me, "Since it's your birthday, I can let you play any video game you want."

So I looked and I pick up Spyro the Dragon video game, and I told my brother "this looks fun, I want to play it."

My brother said, "Ok, you can play that." And he put it in and I started playing it.

to tell you the truth, the only memory i have of playing the origional spyro series was rescuing the dragons stuck in the ice. that, and throwing rocks at the lizard things. i cant remember anything else...

i now play D&D with a spyro bases dungeon were the players can fings a crystal turns them into chars from spyro XD its call the crystal of malefor XD

Somebody when i was young put a playstation controller infront of me and said spyro would be the best. It so was XD. When i heard about the triolgy (new one) was when i wnt in sainsburys and saw it. i was like OMG! big_smile
