Gamespot All Time Greatest Video Game Hero Contest

Hey guys, so I remember seeing this a while back and looking at it, and it is pretty cool.  Gamespot.com gathered up some of the most well known video game characters of all time and pitted them against eachother in a battle.  People would vote on their favorite, and a winner would be chosen to move on.  Unfortunately, the thing I noticed first was, NO SPYRO!  Yet they seemed to choose a lot smaller characters from other places, and I swear that Spyro would come to mind when you look at some of the other characters, but whatever I guess.

Right now I think it is down to the finals, Mario vs Gordan Freeman.
