Any fisherman on this forum?
I've been saltwater fishing since I was a child and I still do go fishing but a lot less than I used to. I've never tried freshwater fishing though. So anyone like to fish?

Re: Any fisherman on this forum?
Well, my father loves to fish. The downside is that San Antonio is a two
hour drive to Corpus Christi, then another 30 minutes to an hour to get to
the water [a.k.a. Port Aransas].

I do freshwater fishing once in awhile. I've never been fishing out on the ocean. Hunting and fishing are both pastimes around here.

Re: Any fisherman on this forum?
I normally fish on the local beaches and fishing piers, I've only fished on boats a few times even though my older brother has a boat but he rarely takes it out. Fishing just hasn't been very good for the last few years here though pretty much have to catch the fish when they come in during spring and leave during fall.

Nope. Never fished before... and I probably won't do it for more than a couple of centuries that is. >;o

Re: Any fisherman on this forum?
My brother is obssessed with it, he's always sat making up rigs in his spare time... I live right on the coast so sea-fishing is an easy thing for us, we also have loads of lakes nearby so he tends to freshwater fish more than sea at the moment.
As for me, fresh-water fishing bores me, at least with sea fishing if you aren't getting any bites you can screw the rods and throw yourself into the sea instead of some bait! XD I've annoyed a lot of people doing that, been fishing and gotten bored after two hours of no bites so I just take my clothes off (I'm not a moron, I wear a swimming costume) and just jump in instead. It's mint when we're fishing off of the sea walls, talk about a thrill. But I do love mackrel fishing, even a toddler could do it when they're in and feeding.
