Re: HOW LONG WILL SPYRO LAST
I think less than five years, I would want to see it go on longer but I really don't know now.

Re: HOW LONG WILL SPYRO LAST
I would be furious at all of the gaming companies that were involved in the making of Spyro if they stopped making Spyro games altogether.

Re: HOW LONG WILL SPYRO LAST
But how are they going to continue the series?
They can always take a new direction in Spyro games in a similar way that TLOS took. I want the series to last forever, but I have a feeling that it will come to an end eventually... hopefully not any time soon.
Be my referral if you want.

Yes, they can. But there really isn't much else they can do with LoS.

Re: HOW LONG WILL SPYRO LAST
They could find a way to continue it somehow.
If you think that you can't do something, don't give up! Have confidence in yourself and things will become easier in the future.

Re: HOW LONG WILL SPYRO LAST
I've had an idea for a game where portals open to other worlds, like in the original games, but the worlds would be larger, along the lines of the worlds in Kingdom Hearts. this would be a good way to introduce a new plotline, since the whole "dragon of destiny" thing wouldn't really apply to other worlds. no supreme destiny=greater freedom.
do you think this would work?

Re: HOW LONG WILL SPYRO LAST
The franchise will last as long as there remain consoles that can play the games on them.

Re: HOW LONG WILL SPYRO LAST
If it continues at the rate it's going, I wouldn't say much more than 5 years.
I mean, the old games were really hyped up everywhere (with good reason). Then, the games still seemed quite popular. ANB came along, and, whilst not as popular as the original 3, proved pretty good. Then TEN came and it seemed to go down in the charts.
....I have yet to see DOTD in any of my local GAME charts, and Tesco wouldn't even sell it (Apparently, the other Spyro games, ANB & TEN, didn't sell well enough).

Re: HOW LONG WILL SPYRO LAST
Note that Spyro exists for 11 years. If Blizzard has some good ideas, it will last longer. And when it seems he's gone forever, I will try to get him back in any way I can. Who agrees?
