But RDX acknowledges this from his follow-up:

Touché, my good man! I admit that there are some M-rated stories that have engaging plots that captivate the reader and are not just pointless romantic scenes. The trouble nowadays is sorting through the pointless naughty stuff to find the plot-heavy M-rated fics. Still, I acknowledge that valid point. *insert Edgeworth-style bow here*
As long as we're also on the OC topic, yeah OCs are fine as sub-characters. Maybe develop a relationship between a pair of them... or kill one off for the sake of plot advancement. The only thing to watch out for are those blasted Mary Sues... which are actually steadily declining in the Spyro fiction world thanks to Cynderism. I guess that's one benefit of this silly Cynder thing.
I use the "M" Platform to continue my writing style.... My Writing style is to tell the reader everything I can from the point of view... no skipping parts or anything... if I think in reality something would happen then I will write about it happening... In my (Newly retitled) Spyro's Legacy II: Resurection and Salvation I have one sex scene between OC's simply becuse I thought that, that is what would happen in real life...
My Male OC there I know is not a "Gary Sue" but the Female one is to a certian point but she is like your typical person on the street... idk... you'd have to read for yourself to tell me but I don't think anybody would want to so I descriped like I did.
The Third of my Trilogy will be almost without Spyro and Cynder so I will have to get onto some OC's there but in general I'm not much of a fan of them.... The First one is without OC's almost completely so that made that a lot easyer to write for me seeing that I don't have to develope and characteristics or histories and stick to them.... Much more simple to do it without OC's but good OC's can create a unique Fan Fiction...
Anybody notice that I like to write right there? lol
EDIT: I'm sorry I had to ramble there... sorry about that.

I've made it pretty clear that I don't head for FF.net's Spyro section anymore anyway. If I do make another account, I'll probably just do stories in the Mario or Smash Bros. section. <.<;

Re: Any fanfiction writers here?
I've written an Avatar fanfic called I Would Die For You (it was inspired by the Spyro song, of course, and the song will be in there!) It's on fanfiction.net.

Why would it be a song conspiracy?
Oh, and I'm planning on making a Spyro/Avatar video with the song (as a tribute to the Spynder and Kataang pairings). I have some parts of it planned, but do you guys have any sugesstions? Because on some parts, I'm just stuck!

I'm what you might call, "semi-retired" from writing fanfiction. I used to update maybe 4 times a week. I dunno what happened but I guess I just lost interest.

Understandable. One cannot expect to keep an interest in something for all eternity. <.<;

It's an old thread so I apologize for the necromancy
Apparently he does realize.
I think it's OK; a bump back from a month ago isn't that bad.

Re: Any fanfiction writers here?
Well, I am not a fanfiction writer, just a fiction one.
I am currently trying to find a place where I can post my stories, but I can't find any. Fanfiction.net is only for fanfiction, and there is no place to put it...

Re: Any fanfiction writers here?
Fanfictions, pft. I'm writing an actual Novel. I'm going to get it published as soon as I'm finished. and have found someone to publish it.
What's it about? yea, like I'm gonna announce to the world what my masterpiece is so they go steal it from under my nose. sorry, you'll have to wait till it comes out.
P.S. yes, I will announce it when it does get copyrighted and published.

You really shouldn't go around and insult people who write fanfiction, that is a BIG ego...

Re: Any fanfiction writers here?
Yeah, how about you come back with proof when your novel is actually published and see if you still feel like looking down on fanfiction writers. Or just stop being so condescending. =/

Re: Any fanfiction writers here?
Hold on, I'm not saying that fanfiction is unimportant or that the people who write fanfiction are lame; in fact, I quite like fanfiction and visit fanfiction.net often. I realize the previous post was very derrogatory and arrogant, and would like to apoligize to anyone I offended. I was very rude, partly because I was feeling rather...arrogant after overcoming an obstacle that had been blocking me for some time. I was frankly looking for a place to brag about it. again, I apoligize to everyone I offended. please forgive my previous post.
