For some, school has not started yet. But for the others ...

Tell about the beginning [or to-be beginning] of the new school year.

What kind of classes do you have? What grade are you in? Do you like
your new teachers? If not, why? [Just to start us off.]

Remember, if you keep a good and positive attitude towards your classes
and your school work, you really will do better in that class. It is a proven
fact about the way the human mind works.

I have been homeschooled for most of my life, but this isn't my first in public school. I've been in a Christian school for 6th grade and in summer school for 5th.
I am now in 8th grade, middle school. Next year I'll be in high school.
I really like my school, and all of my teachers. I get along with pretty much everyone, and have alot of friends too. I don't judge people before I know them, and take time in listening to them and getting to know them. I don't criticize, or make fun of people either. I'm not in a "prep," "redneck," "geek," or "goth," or whatever. I'm just me, and I can be a friend to anyone who needs one. smile
I have seven periods in 8th grade: Pre-Algebra, English, Physics, History, Home Ec., Literature, and PE. I pretty much like them all, and I do my best in everything, every day. I listen and follow instruuctions well, and I would never break the rules. neutral
And yes, you do much better if you have a positive view in things in your life and believe that you have a purpose as well.

I just had my first college classes last Wednesday.

I'm hoping I'll be able to lose the procrastination habit that I have, but it's not likely. Especially now that I have free reign on the Internet whenever I want. tongue

Schools doing really well for me so far. I've hit 12th grade and my classes have been great so far. I can't wait until it's my turn to drive in Driver's Ed XD

Yeah, each person has at least one kid that they don't like. Every year.

School's going well for me, even though it's the foirt week. But I am
hoping that this year will be a good year. I mean ... everyone's Senior
year should be the best.

He always made...... er.... comments that made people feel uncomfortable. He eventually was sent to alternative school, but the school thinks that he was a GREAT student and decided to bring him back.

I'm goin back to school in a few days. Starting 3rd year (last junior year!), I'm not sure but i think thats 10th grade to Americans. I'v got 11 exam subjects and this year there is real big exams in June o_O.

School begin Wednesday for me , but schools don't work like in America in France , that's the second year of the high school for me , I don't know what it does in grades or something...
I never have to search enemies in class...there is always someone who really HATES me every time in every class and who will try to spoil my year by all means...but I always find a friend that a lot of peoples in the class don't really like and laugh at him , so I'm always fine with classemates...
I help the others each time I can , I always respect the teachers , I have good results , but I never fall in a serious class and I'm never the guy everybody respect , never...
And when I speak of this harassment with anybody , that always have bad results , and peoples hate me even more after that...
I can be considered as a 'geek' maybe (and maybe I am) , but classmates don't really care of me , except for harass me , so that changes nothing <_<
But I always have good teachers (mostly at least) , that can compensate greatly sometimes smile

I think I can say that it is as always boring.... What can you expect.... The Positive attitude thing I have well learned in Baseball smile lol

But in any case I think that It's went fine as far as school goes and that's pretty good... lol... I have learned nothing seeing that school started Thursday (went 2 days and now it's Saturday) lol.. we start at a stupid time...

I have just started high-school on the 26th.

These are my classes:

A-Block: History and Geo Studies *
B-Block: Physical Science *
C-Block: English 9 *
D-Block: FYI (First Year Impressions, we learn how to study and take notes)
E-Block: Health
F-Block: Advanced Geometry
G-Block: Spanish I
H-Block: Physical Education I

My first 3 classes are my IC (Integrated Community) classes (everyone in one class is in the next class, just like middle school). And they have an asterick next to them that stands for accelerated.

That is only my first semester though, my next semester has a few class changes...

I recently started school just about a week ago, it's nice and relaxing for the first few days. Everything is easygoing. The only thing I hate is walking or traveling by bus from my school to my house because I get very tired from the recent heat. 98 DEGREES! D:

well i have always hated school because people make fun of the way i look and i really hate it and i get real angry and i just wanted to kill them.

There is this weird girl in my class that goes around hugging people, I'm okay with that part but then she goes around kissing random people, at first its kinda weird, but after a while it just kinda get really annoying, all my friends agree with me, but she only seems to do it when all her friends are around her, when they are not around she is an alright person. And other people in my class go around doing weird stuff as well, I don't hate them, I just think they are weird

It reallly like in my previous year , like you people make fun of me and harass me <_<
But I'm a calm guy so I never go on offensive...but they try anyways to make me as crazy as possible with their constant harassment <_<
The girls who hug and kiss people are not that annoying , because they don't even try to kiss me or something (I'm not looking friendly maybe...)...still weird to see that...But I don't really care of that , they do this if they want , i'm patient (if not I'll be already dead by crazyness and mind destruction) so for me it doesn't matter hmm

DarkMaster, if you are at a private school, I get what you are saying. It
makes sense. But if you're at a public school, I think that's upright out of
place. I have never seen that many people act like that in one class.
