Vent out your hatred for dentists here.

I hate when I go and my dentist has a terrible cough... Sometimes he doesn't even wear that facemask thingy.

I hate the dentist!!!! ARGH!!! and i hate it when they drill at your teeth!!! i hate the dentist sooooooo much and when i got my mouth wide open and he's drilling at my teeth he starts talking to me and asking questions!!!! and i think to myself "how am i surposed to answer when my gob is wide open and your drilling at my teeth!!!!!!

sorry, i'm kinda in a bad mood............

For some reason, I don't get plaque. My dentist said for some reason my mouth doesn't create the bacteria for that... So the only thing I have to worry about is getting bad breath... And a mint cures that!

I do still brush my teeth though...

The only reason I hate dentists is number 1 I don't like having someone put their fingers in my mouth and I used to have a mean dentist when I was little who yelled at me and was extremely hateful to little kids.

I don't hate the dentist as such, but I don't look forward to going. Despite this I've got no fillings or anything like that. Not even braces. Everything is OK when I go usually. I guess I just have lovely teeth. big_smile

1. i hate the feeling of their little instruments on my teeth.
2. i hate the feeling of their fingers in my mouth.
3. i hate the taste of the toothpaste.

i don't actually have anything against my dentist personally. it's more the experience of going rather than the actual person.

That's true, but I do brush my teeth. And I don't go cause they're dirty, I go cause my fillings always fall out. I don't know why.

I don't really hate the dentist. I haven't been to the dentist in a long time. It's the orthodontist that I hate. UGHHH!
I do hate it when they drill my teeth though. The orthodontist I had last time I went was really weird and annoying. She told me to open my mouth as wide as I could every 5 minutes and when I couldn't she would try to pry my mouth open more. To no avail of course. I'M NOT A CROCODILE, LADY!!! And she asks if I'm okay every 3 minutes. LITERALLY! I was sitting right in front of a clock. A lot of the time she asks me if I'm okay when she's trying to pry my mouth open. I don't know if she just can't understand body language, if she just doesn't listen or pay attention, or if she just has no idea what "nuh-uh!" means. I would sit there flinching and fidgetting and shaking my head and she asks me if I'm okay. Then she says "Good then! "Cause I don't wanna hurt you." as she's drilling my teeth and trying to break my jaw.

Hey and my teeth really aren't that crooked. My mom said I just HAD to get braces because she couldn't afford them when she was younger. hmm

WHAT!! is wrong with dentists. I can understand if something bad happened to you when you were young (eg. dentists accidentely cut you),

my mum had to have a root canal in one of her canines. they drilled the hole vertically which killed her tooth. shes getting it pulled out next week.

Got nothing wrong with the dentists themselves, but some of the stuff they have to do is a pain, like the x-rays where they have to stick that cardboard thing in your mouth.
