Of course, it also runs the risk of being too different, but I'd love to see them try it. Hopefully there's a play-both-sides mechanic where you could say, spend part of a level causing some catastrophe then switch sides and play damage control. I think that'd be interesting.

I honestly don't mind something being a little different....I like to view things from just about any angle possible...I guess that's just part of the imagination.

I agree whole-heartedly, in fact I said something almost exactly like that either in this topic or another one somewhere. The prospect of being able to chose whether you want to be good or evil definately appeals to me, it's just that much more fun, especially because it usually gives you the opportunity to go against other characters wishes if you want.

I'd love a choose good or bad side storyline. Maybe something like Sonic Adventure 2 Battle where you just choose "good" or "bad". Simple as that. I hate how you always have to choose a good side. I was playing a game once where the big baddie offered you to be his right-hand man and the answers you could choose were "Never!" and ".....". That bugged me so much, I wanted to join him!

Or maybe a game where you play as little Malefor and get to take over the world >D Then you get sealed, and next game is Cynder releasing you? XD

Either way, we need a Spyro game where you get to be a baddie.

And for the love of the Ancestors, I don't want to go back through Sheila, Srg Burd, Bently or the crazy monkey ever again. Elora and Bianca I can see, they'd be good also because the LoS series is in desperate need of females, but only them. And not playable.

Very true. I'm all for a choose your side engine in a new Spyro game. We should suggest it to them lol.

DotD needs an XBox Live multiplayer thing thats similar to Halo 3. The should to do this in a future game.
- Custom colored,shaped, horned, crested dragons (based off of the Dragon Generator but with more options.
- Types of Playlists.
- 4-player Coop in the Story Mode (Spyro 1, Cynder 2, blue dragon 3, red dragon 4---or your custom look)

If they make another game, I'm sure something like this can be done.

In the Multiplayer Sessions, it won't be Deathmatch/Slayer, it'll be Duel ('cause none of the dragons will actually die here)
..But of course we CAN't forget about the OTHER type of matches that can be done. CTF, Hide'N'Seek, and maybe Skirmish.

This is MY solution...

That wouldn't really make sense, since Spyro & Cynder are friends now. But of course, it doesn't make sense that you're fighting your team mates in Star Fox Assault, either. XD;

The problem with that is no one's really evil anymore in DotD besides Malefor and his minions, so in order to play the evil side they'd have to think of an entirely different storyline. Which not only would take a heck of a lot more work on the creator's behalf, but also cause some arguments over which was canon. It would be that horrible game "Shadow The Hedgehog" all over again.

Yeah, but the guardians are all worn out old men. I don't think it'd be very fun playing as them. x)
