Is anyone else besides me kind of disappointed with Malefor's design? I mean, look how long his freaking claws are! How could he even walk properly with those?

He's got really weird teeth, too. I mean, in the end cutscene when Cynder attacks and he laughs...bloody hell, he doesn't have fangs! His teeth are just a straight bridge!

I know! The developers were just too dang lazy to make more detailed teeth. And he DOES look pink when you fight him. Who would have thought the lord of everything dark would be pink?! Hahaha.

I thought he'd be really dark purple (like in the picture) with long, bloody fangs...

As for his 'teeth', they're just completely straight. You'd think for an evil, menacing dragon he'd have more threatening fangs.

I admit his deisgn was disapointing but its an ok design for the character, although the purple should of been made a bit darker i think

He is purple tongue but think about it, we fight him in a place where uts lit up by fire so the purple lights it up and appears pink, like how spyros colour gets lit up in valley of avalar so its brighter tongue

It's reflections and computer engineering of a different nature. I do believe they fully planned to have all characters the color that they should have been to start, just the design and modeling techniques didn't quite do them justice in my opinion.

To be honest the only thing that bugged me about him was in fact his "teeth". Seriously, if they'd spent a bit more effort on those I'd have no problem with him. His character was perfect though despite this.

I didn't think his design was bad at all. ^^ I liked Malefor. I just think the ammount of time we had to, you know, actually SEE him was sorely dissappointing. hmm I do like the idea of if he had longer, scarier fangs, though. big_smile

I don't find Malefor scary. At all. And that's what they marketed him as; He was supposed to be the big bad dark master that we waited two whole games and half of another to see. And he wasn't. At all.

His voice disappointed me, too. Who could actually UNDERSTAND that?

If you thought Malefor was scary then you need some constitution classes. That was one of the biggest disappointments for a final boss ever.

I think he should have been more intimidating, like bigger than the guardians and really really dark convexity looking purple, not pinkish purple :\

And I had to put subtitles and restart the game to understand his voice!!! He sounded like Darth Vader.
