My DSi !!!

does anybody here like the new DSi ?? i do!! because i got one last week, they are sooo awesome, anyone who has a DS or a DS lite then you should really get a DSi, they are sooo awesome!

Does anybody here actually have a DSi ?? if anyone does, then share your thoughts about them here!

My mom has a DSi, but she shares it with my. I have the original DS.
It's not that different; there's just that audio and picture thing. You can't play GBA games on the DSi, and it was bad enough that I couldn't play original GameBoy games on the first DS.

i have to agree with the part were you cant play gameboy games anymore, thats the worst part, i have a original DS aswell

I don't really see the need for a DSi - a DS Lite is all I need to play games. And the fact that you can't play GBA games on it makes it even more of a ripoff.

I don't have a need for a DSi or DS Lite even. The original has done me just fine. And there's no way I'm shelling out an extra $60 for the DSi over the DS Lite to play music and take pictures, which my cell phone can do just fine. Not to mention I wouldn't even be able to migrate pokemon anymore.

I prefer the DS Lite because it appears to be less likely to break when I drop it (and I'm very clumsy). Plus, the fact that it's not so bulky helps.

The DSi is not as bulky as a PSP.

But I must agree, it isn't something that everyone really wants... They sort of need to come out with an entirely new generation of handheld games...

I have a DSi, and I like it very much. The fact that my previous DS was an original one with little lighting and occasional malfunctions convinced me to get a DSi, whereas people with a DS Lite wouldn't need one.

the DS lite has a problem with the top screen breaking. 2 of my friends has and mines starting to.

i like my DS lite.

I have a DS Lite and that's enough for me. The DSi does sound pretty cool, but, correct me if I'm wrong, but the DSi only has that camera as a new feature, right? Sure it looks fun, but... is that it? Making it £50 or so more expensive for that?

Plus, as ember_da_dragon said, it actually takes a feature away - the GBA games. I still play my Pokemon games on it, and use them to help me catch certain ones on Diamond and Pearl. Also to import them. If the DSi played GBA games too, I'd have one if my DS Lite died. Now I'm starting to think that a DS Lite is perfectly fine for me.

Mine is black too, only mine is the limited edition pokemon diamond/pearl one. It has glittery etchings of palkia and dialga on the front of it. That's the only difference. Oh and it came with a matching carrying case and a poster with a grovyle on it.

The dsi would be cool if it still had backwards compatability but its not worth $40 more without that.
