General Discussion 3

ok guys this is a General Chat NOT a SPAM forum. Unfourtunately there are rules involved with this thread that also apply to all of the other's...

First and foremost, Do not speak of baned subjects. (Religion, Politics (I'll police that myself as I always do) and Relationships (B/F G/F ones... Friends are ok to talk about))

Secondly guys respect other people's opinions. You can't get any where in life if you don't and you certianly can get this thread locked up in a hurry too if you don't... That should go with out saying anyhow.

Third and finnaly, stay calm and police yourselves. If you don't know if it is within the rules don't post it. Ask of the Site Help/Sugjestions froum and see if it is ok first... We don't want to have to have a General Discussion 4, 5, 6, 7, 8 ,9, ect. It should have never came to 3...

Anyhow learn from our mistakes and move on...

Have fun and follow the rules not only here on this thread but everywhere on this site... (Except the SPAM forum... smile )

It was closed because A Guy ignored Aicebo's warning that if he and aceedwin continued to argue about the intelligence of animals, the thread would be locked. Pure and simple.

In the future I think a warning then a ban for the offender is sufficient. The whole thread shouldn't suffer, lest we want a general discussions 4 and so forth (or just a general discontinuity of flow).

I think I'll just start off with a youtube video I found of this boy getting upset that his mom cancelled his WoW subscription. The video clearly shows why you should not ever get hooked on WoW. Lemme find the video...

It does too exist cornys. If not as atomic existence then some form of experience based existence, and that's good enough for me. (No, you are NOT supposed to know what I mean).

I played WoW for a month and to be honest, I didn't understand why it was so addictive. I kinda liked calling down meteor storms over a crowd of newbies who had no idea it was harmless to them... But overall, it was too slow.

I did have WoW.... I got bored of it and lost interest, by the time my interest was sparked again my subscription had run out and I've never bothered to renew it. My computer hated the programme anyway, it was all laggy and rubbish, kept freezing.... Especially when I went into a major city.

I'm a huge fan of strategy games, Command & Conquer being my favorite series. I'm so happy that EA announced Command & Conquer 4, which will also have some RPG-like elements to it.

I'm probably going to need a way better graphics card, though. I have a good one on my laptop, but until I can get a new charger for my laptop, I'm stuck with this utterly crappy desktop PC.

That guy REALLY needs to get a life. It's JUST a game! I mean, I've played Runescape and Guild Wars, but whenever something bad happened (ie, when I was hacked in RS) I never got like this!

I have a few points to get out of my system ... hold your guts together.

1. Forget another "Talk About Anything" type thread. They aleays get
locked. Unless we can keep away from breaking the rles, we can keep
one going for 2,000 posts and more. But apparently, we fail at that. So it
won't work again.

2. It should be called "Talk About Anything." This isn't a term to be taken
literally, as some chosen topics are to not be discussed in the forum. But
the original name was that, and someone else changed it to "General
Discussion." It would be good to stay with the primary topic name. Also,
this whole section is called General Chat, so it seems a bit dull.

3. Sorry, I've just ran out of patience for this kind of thread. I'm pure sick
of them being locked. I was really looking forward to it reaching 2,000 or
greater. I thought we could do it without breaking the rules.

Alright, I'm done now. You may call me an idiot now ...
