Discussion on Pink Floyd.

I have heard many feedbacks on the band Pink Floyd, and a majority of
them were feedbacks on how bad the band is.

I, personally, enjoy Pink Floyd's music. Most of it. [Aicebo calls me closed-
minded. Maybe she's right.]

Take these three songs from them: Comfortably Numb, Coming Back To
Life, and Sorrows. Are these songs really not good? I like them, and I
think they sound great.

Many know the song 'Another Brick In The Wall'. Is that the reason you
like or dislike the band?

Re: Discussion on Pink Floyd.

I can't say Pink Floyd is in my top 10 (or 20) music favorites, but I wouldn't change the song to something else if it came up...

I have to admit, they have a few good songs, but like I said, I don't mind it.

Re: Discussion on Pink Floyd.

I, too, never payed any attention to the band. But after I played guitar
and became more skilled, I listened to one of their songs [in which made
#1 on the top 100 best guitar solos ... Comfortably Numb]. I love the
guitarist in their band. He is pure awesome, and creates some of the
smoothest and most 'flowing' guitar solos I have ever heard.

By those means, I recently began listening to them.

I mostly enjoy them because of their guitarist[s], but they would not be
able to make that noise come alive without the other members.

Not bad. I would listen to them if I was bored.

Re: Discussion on Pink Floyd.

I'm surprised they don't get the kind of respect that Led Zep and Guns 'N
Roses gets. Yes, PF's music is a lot softer, but it's still good music.

Simple Man... Sweet Home Alabama... other's that I like but can't find the names for...

Re: Discussion on Pink Floyd.

Lynard Skynard is pretty cool. Simple Man is pretty much a reminder for
my life. Stay simple, and be a conduct, controlled person. You'll find love
one day.

[But stay on the P.F. topic.]

What is your favorite song from the band?

Re: Discussion on Pink Floyd.

I like Comfortably Numb for a favorite I'd have to say... I'm not good at remembering song names sice I listen to the radio a lot...

Re: Discussion on Pink Floyd.

That song is cool. I attempted to learn the second solo, but only got about
half down. It's pretty challenging.
