Hey RedDragonX, when you refer to Pepsi or Coke as "our" company, is that suggesting that you're somehow affiliated with it? Did you work there before or something?

Spyro_Loves_Me: Dr. Pepper isn't owned by Pepsi or Coke....but the rights to sell it have been granted through our company. We hold many products that are not actually "owned" by us...we are just granted the right to sell them by paying the provider off wink ....examples are Dr. Pepper...Sunkist....V8.....and Minute Made products.

personally...i have no specific preference, though i do prefer Dew over Vault. other than that, i couldn't tell ya the difference between em if i didn't know before hand

I have an uncle that used to work for Coca-Cola - is it true that one of the biggest offenses in the workplace is to suggest, reveal, or hint at the promotion of the Pepsi company? (e.g. wearing t-shirt with logo/colors, drinking can of Pepsi, etc.) I wouldn't be surprised if it's true.

Yes that is true lol....around the bigwigs anyways. Our manager has fired two people....one for having a Pepsi bumper sticker on this car...and another for bringing a Mountain Dew into the office with him.

Out in the market though we usually get along just fine...most of us don't care...but yeah the managers take it pretty serious.

Based on the specific drinks of Coke or Pepsi, I'd always choose Pepsi given the choice (although most places I go to don't sell both for one reason or another). But I recently learnt that The Coke Company sells more of my favourite drinks than Pepsi does so I do prefer that company. Although Pepsi, in my opinion, has always had the better adverts/commercials.

I don't drink soft drinks, but my family always buys Coke, so there's sort of a brand loyalty there. If I could drink those things, I'd probably chose Coke just because it seems more like the "real" one for that reason.

Not really into soda... drinking anything with caffeine means I'm wired until dawn, and I don't want that...

When I do drink soda, I'll take whatever is within reach (except ginger ale, can't stand that stuff).

When you used to work for Coke RDX, did you happen to drink more pop/soda than usual? Did employees have discount on Coke products?

I still work for them haha....and yes I get product for free at given times...the rest of the time I usually get 50% off or something like that, it didn't really play too much with my soda drinking habits though. Those were already pretty bad tongue
