Re: Lossing Old Friends
I'm still pretty much in the same area I have always lived in moved once but it was still in the same area. I've haven't seen a lot of my best friends from when I was younger
Most haved moved away I think miss them a lot :'( And I agree with both of you RedDragonX and Spyro Master. You should get to know a person first before you rush into any relationship and they should be comfortable about who they are.

Without friendship in the beginning what will you have to look forward to after? You'll sleep together and then hate each other....welcome to society.

Re: Lossing Old Friends
Too true indeed. If it doesnt work out atleast you'll have a good friend. If it does you have not just someone to love but a best friend too. And if they end up hating you well's that's just part of the frightening concept called life. ![]()

Oh yeah it's the best feeling in the world when someone you claim to "love" stabs you in the back after dedicating so much to them. But anyways I've long since recovered.

Re: Lossing Old Friends
yeah... if they do that it's always for the best that it didn't happen any later after more was put into it....
Really get to know who somebody is when they do something like that.

Re: Lossing Old Friends
*steps in* Now, to mess up this place or not...
I've forgotten about most of my old school... friends (for lack of a better word). Some of us meet up at this cute little event down at the park. But I went to a different school to everyone in my school. So woop-dee-doo.

Re: Lossing Old Friends
I've moved twice in my life but been to three schools. The first time I moved house and school I had some pretty decent friends, I wasn't loved, but wasn't hated either.
In the second school I made some good friends but they went to a different Secondary school to me and I eventually ended up going to a secondary where the people from my very first school ended up going. It was a strange feeling seeing them all again, even stranger to see that most of them, despite not seeing me for three years, now hated me.
By the time I'd finished secondary though I'd made some brilliant friends but then I ended up going to a different college to them. We try to keep in touch but it isn't the same as actually being there. I tried to contact some friends from the primary school I went to but its been almost ten years since I saw them and the idea of speaking to them just seems daunting, I've changed much since then, chances are they probably have too. Oh well, I guess I should just be content with happy memories.

Re: Lossing Old Friends
Do imaginary friends count? Because I've lost quite a few of those through arguments over whether they existed or not.
In all seriousness, since I seem to be lacking that today, I've always had a close group of friends, which've differed over my life. I'm actually prolly closest friends with a lot of my family that live close to me, but I was homeschooled for a bit during earlier years so I didn't meet a lot of other kids either. Yes, I've been betrayed quite a few times, not to say I wasn't asking for it on some of them. I'm just realizing no that the web is suprisingly complicated and I don't feel liek elaborating so I'll finish now, lol.

Re: Lossing Old Friends
Yeah the web can be quite screwy. Even though I have met some very good friends through it.

Re: Lossing Old Friends
It hurts to lose friends. Sometimes they go slow and hard.
It also hurts to begin dating someone you have been friends with for a
long time, realizing that dating was a mistake and was beginning to mess
up your relationship. You break up, then end up never talking to each
other again.
After that happens, it's worse to see them turn sour and see them using
words thay have never used before, and do things they seemingly would
never do. You are left with the fact that you turned somebody into a
person you regret turning them into ... even though you never did
anything wrong.
[I feeling like tearing up. That reminded me of a "friend" from school.]
