Re: General Discussion - 2
I.Q. of above 120 is fairly easy to obtain. Top 30% of the population or so. I think I'm in the 140s. Genius borderline. Although I should take a different test to prove it a little more.
As to the end of the universe, if the big bang theory is correct, one of two possibilities will occur. If gravity is above a value known as omega, then the universe will sometime fall back in on itself in what is know as, "the Big Crunch".
If gravity is below, or even better, equal to, omega, then the universe ends up in a state known as heat death. When every particle is spread out so far, light cannot make transmissions. Basically, every atom is isolated.

or the third and most popular thery that says that universe will spread out indefinitly and all of the matter in the universe falls to one of the equasions... In which case after (1*10^32) years everything in the universe will be dissolved even on it's most basic level...
That's my believe.. Ice rather than fire.

Very boring and something that none of us are ever going to witness...so no point in really thinking about it too hard.

^ Typical RDX response. You can say that to just about anything if it doesn't affect you or anyone else. Really, some people are just interested and want to know the possibilities, nevermind whether it happens or not. i.e. speculation is fun

Re: General Discussion - 2
I never said you didn't have to speculate haha...I can speculate as much as I want but in the end it doesn't matter because most likely we're never going to know. Yes yes such a typical response from me I know. I can't help that I like to focus on the now more then thinking about things not vital to the moment....but I do have a time and a place for such things.

I like the heat death theory whats not to lke about heat death /lol srcasam/
I am very intrested how everything comes to an end because we humans would most likely be there when it happens unless the machines blow us all up like they did the terminaiter movies...
Or we get wiped out by a zombie virus that constantly noms on your skull or a piece of rock slamming into our planet or been distegrated by aliens...

Ignore me will you...

Actually, chances are, the human race will either die out, or we evolve. But chances are we all die.

I am going along with my friend for the Human Plauge Theory, and the TV with the "December 12 2012" Theory, even though that one scares me.

Someone explain this "December 12, 2012" theory to me. It sounds a bit Blair Witch to me.

Re: General Discussion - 2
People think that just because some calendar for some culture ends on that day that the world will end. Instead of creating a new calendar every year like America does (I don't know if UK and Australians do it too or not) They had one that goes on for years because they were good with numbers. We have a new calendar every year, yet the world doesn't end when it's done, now does it?

Well, it's just like Aicebo said.
See, the Maya's calendar ended on december 21, 2012, and some rumor arose that said that they ended the calendar there because the world would end that day.
Though, because of my religion, I don't believe that to be true. Maybe something big will happen, like the earth's poles will shift or something, but not the end of the world.

No, but that's because a new calendar starts every year. Not that the world WILL end if we stop making calendars, because it won't.

Re: General Discussion - 2
We are due a pole shifting, but then what do some guys who liked chocolate know about complex magnetic planetary physics.
And if it turns out to be correct, I will call it coincidence, because I am a scientist.

Re: General Discussion - 2
My guess is that humanity will sooner destroy itself before something happens to the planet or world around us that makes it so.

Re: General Discussion - 2
Anyone seen the movie "I Am Legend"? I love that movie. My friend Christine said it was actually based on some scientific theory that an actual Pandemic like that would happen to humanity, spreading out a terible sickness that would cause humans to destroy themselves, like RDX said.
And on the TV show I saw about the "December 12 2012" Theory, there are supposed to be a massive swarm of events, like tornadoes and tsunamis and giant forest fires etc.

Re: General Discussion - 2
I've seen the movie and it's certainly an interesting theory...how humans attempt to develop a cure for the ultimate disease and instead ensure their downfall....and as for the 2012 thing....I don't believe in that stuff but even if it were to happen then it happens, what are we going to do about it?
I wouldn't care if the world ended tomorrow because I have lived every day of my life living as the best person I can be...so I have no regrets only that I won't be able to live out my life to the fullest.

So true, RDX. :3
Hopefully the world isnt going to end anytime soon, I still have tons of things that I want/need to do. But, you never know what could happen. Any day could be your last.
Any chance we could move to another topic for the discussion? Im kinda becoming depressed T^T

Re: General Discussion - 2
no many movies or T.v. shows here.. Baseball and NASCAR is about all that I ever watch... My life is actually pretty simple.. Baseball, Soccer, NASCAR, and 4 wheeler.. that's about all that I ever do in my free time.. sometimes I'll get on the Play Station but I can't find a game that I like anymore.. lol
