Lots of people in this forum and on the wiki seem to have really high quality Spyro scrrenshots, how are you guys all getting these good images?

I can't remember if that's a banned subject or not, I think there was once something about an emulator or something that you can't talk about here...*shrug*
Try asking someone on youtube like yearofthe or Dazzy.

IT WAS ME WHO HAS THE IMAGES! Ok I use FRAPS (A Computer game recorder) and Epsxe (An emulator). I put the emulator on the highest quality and takea screenshot using FRAPS. Edit it then post it on the wiki

Ok, now i've tried epsxe as an emulater, but the emulater turns into a black screen everytime I go into a portal, at first I thought it was because my Year of the Dragon disk is scratched up, but its the same for all my Spyro games. Does anyone know how to fix this problem.

P.S In Spyro 2 the movie before each level plays, but the screen goes all black and stops working straight after it finishes.

You may download ePSXe from my website for free. Just click the link,
and it even has instructions on how to get it working.

While playing your PSX [Also known as PS1] game, I believe you can
press "Print Screen", then paste the image to Paint.

I've tried two emulators now and i'm always experiencing the same problem, whenever I go into a portal the game shuts down or freezes (except in Sunny Villa in Spyro 3 and going into Summer forest for the first time in Spyro 2)

Well I can tell you some things
1.Spyro 3 in cloud spires WILL NOT WORK WITH DISCS, Or atleast the PAL version. You have to downlad roms.
2.Spyro 2 WILL NOT WORK WITH DISCS EITHER FOR IDOL SPRINGS OR COLOSSUS , or atleast the PAL version, you should download an NTSC rom
3.Spyro 1 should work

Either way, Roms are much better than Discs
