Re: General Discussion - 2
I love playing sports in real life but I hate playing them on video games. I'll only play RTS and some history related stuff with the random game like Spyro thrown into the mix.

... another reason why I love the Battlefield series. Especially BF 1942.
The creators made it both historical and fun. Call of Duty just annoys the
*bleep* out of me.

Re: General Discussion - 2
Call of duty? Why? Its awesome.
I found this game called "World in Conflict" and i think its cool to throw carpet bombs over those clueless blobs of tanks, artillery and infantry...

I love Call of Duty...I don't see any major historic inaccuracies with them...if you want that then just play Medal of Honor.

Re: General Discussion - 2
Well, like the butt load of reasons I posted earlier, the guns annoy me.
Their geometries are way off. Like the front of the gun is to thin. And the
weapons are set too low on the screen.
I'm a modder to one or two FPS games, so I know how to make a
weapon look good, in the act of changing their shape and position.

Funny but I find that series much more realistic then most.

Anybody play Halo 3? Forge is a great new addition.
Oh, and the N game is out for purchasing from the Xbox 360 Marketplace.
It is now called N+.

Yeah, I've played Halo 3. My nephews own it.
Despite my hate for shooters, I must admit that Halo is tolerable.

I enjoyed Halo 2...but only when playing with friends. That's when it was fun to just butcher each other with swords.

I'm talking about the weapons and vehicles mostly.
In 1942, the maps are huge and are based on actual maps.
Iwo Jima, El Alamein, Gazala, Midway Isl., etc.

Re: General Discussion - 2
What happens when you wake up, but still see the dream you had five minutes ago. Who would fight to stay awake, and who would surrender to relaxation? I've tried it, and I instinctively try to wake up. Interesting.

AceEdwin, you never seize to confuse me.
I think they are working on the movie, but they mean to simply keep its
progress secret from the public. Similar to a "surprise." Yet you can find a
9.5 minute video of a cut-out from the Halo Movie on YouTube.

God dammit. That's the most spiritual post I've ever made, and you people are too asinine to understand it. I say it again, god dammit.
I once woke up, but could still see the dream.

Re: General Discussion - 2
You are so deluded Swaffles. I speak the truth. I once woke up and I still saw the dream around me. It took a bit of mental concentration to see reality again. One of those weird mental anomaly moments, like when I go blind and get a massive headache for around ten seconds.

only time that ever happens to me, at all, is for a few seconds when i have nightmares. then again, that might just be my natural reaction to the fear. besides that, that never happens to me. must be cool.
