Well you and the Razz clones are gonna have to rot in a storage facility somewhere because the odds are pretty freaking good that Cynder is going to make an appearance in the next game....and you wouldn't be able to change it anyways.

Anyway, i would literally love the idea of Sierra getting rid of Cynder. Well, that would be incredibly stupid and i dont see it happening.

I don't think it is necessary. She's not much of a character now, but they can change that with later games. Why throw something away when it can be improved upon?

cynder was....a necessary evil, as i said in a different topic, BUT we must respect that she did add some fun times into TLoS and know that it is most likely that she WILL be coming back

Most enjoy going with the notion that she is a Mary Sue character...but that is something that will pretty much always be debated. Personally I didn't mind her character up until the freaking fans went nuts over talking about her.

she definitely was an over hyped up character, and not that i can't see why, but i don't personally obsess like that, BUT again, we must look once more at the consistency of video game female characters not following the standards of normal behavior and being all cliched and such

Most do not like to abide by that principle due to their own beliefs and biased views on characters they do enjoy and whatnot. I personally don't care but overhyping a character can def lead to annoyances and losing a little faith in that character for yourself.

Umm... There's the fact she has practically no opinions or beliefs of her own. In DOtD she just follows Spyro wherever he goes. The strongest mental thing she does is in TEN when she walks out on the only place she's been respected and had freedom.

But once DOtD got its hand on her, it all went wrong.

Sierra seems to have done a complete 180 on a few things. Including Malefor's plans. In ANB, it's stated by Ignitus that if Malefor were to escape, darkness would fall upon the world. And then in DotD it changes to where Malefor wants to destroy the world.

But, on a related note, I have a strong feeling Cynder will still be in the games. I'm pretty much neutral about her as a character. She's a decent character, better than Ember, certainly, but people are making too much of a commotion about her. It's a deadlock between Spyro, Cynder and Ignitus for my favorite characters of TLoS.

the fact that she is spyros canon love puppet with no mind of her own and so on and so forth you have heard this argument a million times. I agree that the games needed a character like this but it could have been done sooooooo much better. obviously if the games do continue she will stay in but I do hope they decide to give her a brain eventually... perhaps it would be better if she fought someone over spyro... at least then she would fight for something... I must ponder this

She is perfect as she is. No one in the forums will force the change on Cynder.

Nobody is trying to change Cynder, but people can still call out what they don't agree with if they wish.
