Your mental screensaver

Sometimes, when you have nothing to think about, certain experiences automatically begin existence in your head. Hmmm... I'm not explaining this well. Do you ever hear songs in the morning, and they stay in your head for the rest of the day? Well that's the sort of thing I mean. Images, sounds, smells etc.

Oftentimes, my mental screensaver involves some seriously morally questionable deed. But that's me.

So what is your mental screensaver?

All of the time I get random songs stuck in my head; other times when I'm bored I try to remember the events of things that made me happy.

hm, often my "mental screensaver" involves some kind of metal (either Power Metal, or some other song that's just stuck in my head).

if there are images, it's usually not a real life experience, it's more fantasy.

Yeah that's usually the case for me. Even if I mention a song to someone, it often stays there ALL day. Sometimes their even incredibly annoying, like off the kiddie shows my little sister watches. Argh!!! >_<

I'm probably thinking up a plot, design or ideas for a comic or for an animation project I have to do. I use most of my thinking/daydreaming time for this anyway.

Usually I'm thinking of some random thing to invent or some random thing to draw. This week my school put on a play, and we had to sit at the lunch tables. It was so epicly boring that I started to make one of my head drawings. Then, cause there was an hour left of the play, I started drawing it on the table. Then when I got home I drew it ten times better than I usually draw.

well anywho, I have a mental "playlist" if you will...I switch between the songs that seem to be inhabiting my brain that day. (:)

I dont think I ever let my brain slip into it's "screensaver" mode, Im usueally using it for something or other.

During Chemistry class my brain quite often switches to screensaver mode, in which case I usually have a far off story idea developing which then proceeds to delete itself before I get a chance to be able to write it down when I'm out of class...
