It's actually really similar to english. When I learned how to read in french, I didn't know how to read in english yet. Nobody thought me how to, but it just came naturally. The same thing goes for my little brother, Sammy, and my older sister, Tiffany. Once you know english, it's easy to learn french, too. LOL! wink
Here in Newbrunswick, Canada people are English and French, but most are biligual.

LOL! That's actually the same reason why I know french! My mom is biligual, my dad is english and I lived in N-B for 12 years until I moved to stinky Quebec last year...

My mom is bilingual (but born french) and my dad is english.
(He can speak french, but his accent is very strong.)
