Re: Who are you in RuneScape???'
It's such a massive timesink. I've been watching my friends do 1 task ad naseum just to level up once... But they keep playing, along with countless other people, it must have something going for it.
Oh great, my lighthouse is on fire again, be right back...

Re: Who are you in RuneScape???'
I have found a few better games than Runescape recently but I still waste time on it every now and then.

Ech, I really don't know why I used to like it. It's such a waste of time.

Re: Who are you in RuneScape???'
I admit there are some better MMo's out there but I like Runescapes training system and its low graphics and music give it a certain charm.

Heh, the music is very cute. My favourite is "We can fight" but you wouldn't have that one.

Re: Who are you in RuneScape???'
I haven't played mine in a while. Mine's Kratos000123, and I'm about lvl 83 or something like that. I think the game is alright for what it is, it's not that expensive if you want to be a member and even then the free membership has enough to keep you occupied for a couple of months if you want to kill time.

Re: Who are you in RuneScape???'
So I made an account to see what has been changed and if the community is still the same.
Overall, the game is very mediocre and after you've played for a while it gets dull (hence the reason I quit so long ago).
But what keeps me coming back is the community. Cheap entertainment.

Re: Who are you in RuneScape???'
It is a better community. There are less scammers, troublemakers etc. But at the same time, you tend to be immediately surrounded by level 100s and it all gets a little embarassing.

Re: Who are you in RuneScape???'
I tend to not involve myself with the community. You still get scammers in the memeber's worlds but yes, there are less of them. What you get more of, however, is the arrogant ones because, as you Aceedwin said, they are high levels and if you aren't a high level too you don't get treated very well.

Re: Who are you in RuneScape???'
I was just wondering because the onlly roleplaying server in the game is a member onlly one. And I can see now why they wouldent want to realese a non-member version...

Re: Who are you in RuneScape???'
Each server is almost exactly the same, only because it has a name such as roleplaying that would be where you'd be most likely to find role players. Same thing goes for player vs player and castle wars (sort of a minigame). You can do everything in each server, the only difference between member and non member is that some skills are locked and the majority of the map is unavailable.

Re: Who are you in RuneScape???'
The only real encouragement is the title of the server. If you're looking for Roleplayers then you'd be more likely to find them there so all roleplayers would join that server. It also works another way. If you wanted to do something that is usually quite popular you can join a server that is doing something else other than the popular thing you want to do. That way you'd be more likely to accomplish what you set out to do.
