How strong are you Emotionally
I am young at heart so nothing would surprise me...
Describe a time that you were hurt emotionally. Tell us how you got through it. Would it have been better if you had some one to talk to?

Re: How strong are you Emotionally
Ah, when my little sister died.
I think I cried. Sometimes I still do. I didn't really talk to anybody about it, so yeah...

Re: How strong are you Emotionally
Well, one of my current emotional struggles are on a subject that is banned from the site.
I don't quite see the point in telling what your personal emotional feelings and thoughts are for, though.

Well he does not have to say anything if he does not want to.
It was nice of him to stop by though

Re: How strong are you Emotionally
She... What part of the pink little blob don't you get... And Aicebo? Three words. Process of elimination.
Anyway, attempting to measure something as hypothetical as emotional strength is like trying to measure intelligence. I mean, who's smarter, the scientist or the chess grandmaster? The sudoku enthusiast or the mathematician?
Emotional strength could hypothetically be measured in experiences, but it could also be measured in ability to express, supress or understand emotions. It could be how much emotions effect you.
Of course then we have the obvious question of whether emotions exist. I do believe in them, but only as intricate formations of experiences, which in turn are merely bunches of electrical impulses.
Now I shall watch and see whether anyone will understand, or even bother to read my post.

To be honest, not very. I cry fairly often over small things, even just being angry. Something I need to work on.
As for experiences, I'd rather keep those to myself. ![]()

Does not having any emotions other than happyness and anger count?

Re: How strong are you Emotionally
That's just it! It's not like physical strength. It's mental, so it has multiple properties. Saying someone is more intelligent that you is silly. As is saying someone is emotionally strong.

Re: How strong are you Emotionally
Aceedwin, I'd just like to say, I think I'm a *bleep* site more intelligent than the girl in my form who asked what ignorance was (I *bleep* you not) and whose view on life barely expands beyond 'fit boys'.

Re: How strong are you Emotionally
Well yeah, but what I'm saying is that emotional strength cannot be "measured" until you define emotional strength. Emotional strength is exactly like intelligence. People can be more intelligent that each other in different things. Like I can be better than you at sudoku and you can be better than me at philosophy (hypothetically).
I just feel that this thread is logically pointless. It should be just called "Your emotions" or something, but then... *shudders* consequences could be serious hm?
Actually, this looks more like something our goverment would do. Like teaching us how to channel anger. Heh...

Re: How strong are you Emotionally
How about we stay within the topic boundaries. I brought this up to talk about personal issues not to debate whether they exist.
Here is just so you understand. People do get emotional and neither boy nor girl get more emotional than the other.

Re: How strong are you Emotionally
Nothing really hurts me much
I try not to let heavy and wasteful insults corrupt me.But I used to cry sometimes when I strongly think about sad things like terrible memories.I had went through alot
.Still, those memories are bothering me,but now I learned from my own experience to ignore.

Re: How strong are you Emotionally
Im pretty lucky. I havn't really had any immediate family deaths. Sure people have died around me, but I dont know them too well.
Also, The fact that I am in mid teens and my testosterone is at an extremely high point, it is physically impossible for me to get emotional. I am sad but Usually I cant show it. I really only get emotional when My testostone is lacking (I blame that). I used to be very emotional though when I was a kid. Kids used to tease me becuase of how much I cried. It was uncontrollable, the tears and frowwns just poured out, as well as the hapiness, anger and the rest. I dont know what I like better, being depressive on the outside and a little on the inside, but just on the inside. But I am probably more happy these days, Maybe due to me having a socially higher position. I dont know.
Ironicly, Puberty is probably the most terrible thing In my life right now, i frankly hate it. I hate the body changes, the facial changes and the voice canges. I dont know why dont like puberty, Its not like I have gender issues or some crap like that.

Re: How strong are you Emotionally
Going to boot camp really helps with the whole emotionally strong thing. If you make it through that is.
