Forum Dieing?

Course the forum is dieing. There only so many times you can talk about something Spyro related, and off-topic stuff just gets the same stuff like music and books and with the occasional random thing.

Just thought I would bring it up about Razz she was a special person after all. Did great art. I sent a pm to her a while back she never answered. At first I thought it was because she probably gets them all the time and never really take time to answer them all and I understand quite so.

Then some on told me she left the site. I won't say who it was since I don't want to put him in the public eye view. I don't believe in eye for an eye.

I haven't seen her around in a long time... actually since I joined I don't think I've seen her.... just heard and Saw a few old posts of her's.

in the whole... 7 months? i've been here, it doesn't seem to be dying much. it might be having less traffic, but it's mostly because of what other people are saying - school, same topics, etc.

being "embarrassed" isn't an excuse, because for one thing, you shouldn't have to be embarrassed to do anything you want to. and if you are, it's the internet. nobody will know who you are unless you go around proclaiming who you are.

the only place that doesn't go to sleep here is Spyro games. Its on caffeine all the time.

Well is that not what this forum is about? you said that yourself once before. I think that this forum even with its disadvantages is a value to me. It seems that I still have faith that this forum will be going sson. You wait and see...

You're talking about Razz in pretty much every post. We have many good members on here and not just one...and she left because of a disagreement with the administration that was simply blown out of proportion just like this whole Forum Dying topic has.

Forums go up and down in terms of activity. NOTHING is going on in the Spyro world right now...of course the activity is going to go down somewhat. If you want to leave the site then leave it...or you can stay on and continue to communicate with many of the good members we do have.

Other then that I really don't see any issues. Those particular topics have been banned to avoid any useless flame wars and that's the way it's going to be for a given amount of time.

How safe is this site. May be it is more than we think.

Think about it...

Does this site have a privacy statement. The mods seem to spy on some members. Some more than others. THis is just a hunch so don't panic.

PS...
Razz was and still is a good person. She was a good friend of mine please don't say anything negative about her on the public forums.

I'm not saying anything negative I was only saying the truth...as far as I can see what I said was nothing but the truth.

Anyways mods are allowed to look at all the aspects on the forum that might play a part in the overall security and representation for it. That is the right they're given by the Administrator and it's their job to stay well within those boundaries.

I know all the mods and they don't spy on anyone. They only do what they're suppose to do to keep the rules stable on this site.

The forum has slowed down a bit, but from my guess (and I might be repeating some things from others), it might be because...

1.) Besides the Movie, there isn't much upcoming Spyro stuff for a while.
2.) Many don't like the Legend of Spyro series (speaking of that, I found something ironic on DA. The person drew a excellent picture of Spyro and Sparx from tLoS, but mentioned he/she HATED the series. Honestly, that doesn't make any sense).
3.) School's still going on.

I will admit, I have an idea for a Spyro topic, but it'll take a long time to complete.

SR let me know what happened. Now that I know, I really don't know what to think other than "Wow." He lost a good friend. Let you guys know that she had a good heart.

About the privacy statement...

That was just to go along with the thread. I never meant to criticize the administration. Sorry it sounded like it.

I think that's really all there is too be said about this. He brings up a good point: nothing's happening with Spyro now, so there won't be as much activity.

Also, if you have issues with the moderators, you can take it up with them personally. I know that none of us would "spy" on anyone here though.

One more thing: mentioning Razz in every post is a very good way to get some people angry around here. Just saying.

And that's one member but I would have to guess that the average age of this forum is going to reside around 13 or 14....and those are members right int he middle of middle/high school educations.

I am also going to agree with Stormy on what she said. I think Razz is
great, so anybody that puts Razz down will cause me to get angry.

To midget_roxx. Some people's school hours take up most of their day.
This includes the fact that they may have sports and/or sport practice.
Some have clubs after school. As for me, I don't have a last period. I get
off earlier than usual.

That's all I'll say for now.

Enough about the whole Razz issue. All of that happened a good deal of time ago and I'm really sick of seeing it pop up in half the posts. Just talk about other issues besides those of conflict.

I always thought that Razz was overrated, no offence meant. I mean she Did absolutely awesome art, better than mine ever could be, And Her posts had quite alot of meaning. But I kind of got angry when whenever she would post, everyone would go on her side.

Obviously, i am just jealous, And Razz is a great person.
