What is your opinion on the "Spyro Haters"

People have their own opinions, but if they hate Spyro they should just stay away from Spyro related topics. Simple as. That just angers us fans and arguments break out. They're annoying was my vote.

I meant they should stay away from fan based youtube vids. It's annoying when someone makes a really good vid, and then someone comes along and says something stupid and sparks an argument. If they don't like Spyro, fine. That's their opinion and personal taste. They should just post comments on things that interest them, and not ruin other people's fun.

I find it odd but I have never been attacked by a Spyro hater but I have had a run-in with a few on other people's videos, and I agree with Saphira 100%

I tend to think that they haven't played on of the "good games" or they don't like the genra(s). I feel the same towards those who don't like tLoS. I never really come into contact with them so I have no problems here...

About the same with everything with me... NASCAR, Baseball, writing, ect.. you name it they don't much bother me.

If you all watched every video diespyro has made, you probably noticed that he only hates the PRESENT Spyro, not the OLD one.

Yeah...but even so, all the person is doing is wasting his time attacking people who are okay with the Legend of Spyro series, regardless if they enjoy both series overall. The guy could probably be using his time for more valuable things, rather than wasting them on a fanbase.

All we can say really is that he's just a Retro Spyro Fanboy and can't accept the changes. If he's been doing it for as long as The Legend of Spyro series has been out, he pretty much have too much free time to actually use it for something important. If he can't accept the fact that Spyro changed for possibly the better (I've seen some critics say the gameplay and story has improved), then he has some issues he needs to work out. You honestly can't keep up such hatred for lame reasons..

...But then again, a great deal of Retro Sonic Fans have been doing it ever since 2004-2005, so I could be wrong(No offense).

And considering diespyro, he is now on DeviantArt disguised as an 8 year old (occording to Cynder-and-spyro-fan's journal) and is now sending VERY offensive things to the artists themselves (she being a victim), heck, she said he is now making bad videos of the artists. That is taking it a bit too far.

Dude, to be honest, no fanbase...no fanbase never has peace and quiet. There will be and always have haters in the fanbase whether it's for a logical reason (if possible) or some bull#%^& reason.

You just have to learn to ignore them.

Well right now, it's fairly calm, at least on the forums. All the major arguments have already happened, and there isn't much hurry to start them up again. There's been nothing new to discuss for a while.

Spending any time on a fanbase is pretty much wasting your time, it doesn't really matter what you do in it.

Well, I personally mean to have fun for worthwhile reasons, not for stuff like that. I think there's a fine line from having fun and enjoying yourself and being a bully for a really stupid reason because a fictional character got changed possibly for the better. You honestly can't expect everyone to agree with you. Personal taste and opinions people.

'Sides, it's pretty much like throwing money to inmates and watching them fight (possibly to the death) and saying it's charity (If you read the book Night, that's where I got it from).

At least, in my opinion.

(EDIT: Okay...maybe that reference to Night was probably rather exaggerating and a bit more extreme than I meant, but you I think you get what I meant.)

I really don't think he counts as a bully, because his victims come to him. I haven't seen him hassle or trick people into watching his videos, they just kind of do that on their own, and they just never learn and continue to come to him. I get entertainment from reading the angry comments on his videos because of that incredibility.

It's pretty funny how people get riled up over nothing, I thought his videos were funny before I even knew he was only making fun of the LoS Spyro.
