How did you get into the spyro the dragon games?

I was about 4 years old when the first spyro the dragon came, and were I loved dragons so much my dad wanted to get me the game but I had no idea I was geting the game untill my birthday. After a couple of days of playing the game my mom and dad tried to get me out side but i couldn't it was like I was fused to the game. I cried when I didn't get to be with my dragon, so when we would come back home I would leave the game in side the PS took the case with me to bed for about a year or two. Then as I got older I began to be able to stop thinking about him the whole day I was at home. those days still happen to me besides the crying part.

same her, my mum bought it, and i watched her play it. i sometimes played it too. but i wasnt that great at it lol.

i was bored one day my dad got ol spyro out of the cabinet (i didn't know he had it) and i played got bored played and i only got past one level or so lol
the next week or so i played it again out of boredom i got bored put it away for about 3 years then i started playing it

Dad and I found the game randomly and I was like 'Dragon!' *I was 6* and we bought it. Every time one of us died, the other would take over and see how long they can survive. Record is still 5 levels! *held by me*

I was attached to dragons and when I seen the spyro games I played them and I just loved the game ever since. smile

My best friend in third grade introduced me to Spyro. I played Spyro the Dragon for the first time at her house; we were in Dark Hollow, I remember. She got mad at me for killing the fodder. XD

That same thing happened to me, I loved dragons bofore my mom and dad got the game for my birthday. I loved Spyro and the game ever since that very day.

I had a PS1 demo disk with Spyro in it. My parents asked if i wanted to buy it and i had no idea what they were talking about. I was like "okay" and then i got the game, i had no idea what i was doing and i was so scared at Dark hollow sad i was like 4 or 5

Came with the Playstation I think when I first got one.Came with Crash Bandicoot 2 and Nightmare Creatures.

My brother (now 24 years old) owned a PS1. Back in 2000, my brother had Spyro the Dragon, and I played it,. In fact, Spyro the Dragon was my first ever video game I've played. Before I'd played Spyro the Dragon, I never played video games.

WOW totally different for me. Saw DOTD in the shops and thought "well i'm bored i, I got $2000 and need a new game. And I heard Spyro was good on the PS1" and I gave it a go and it was actually pretty decent.

I saw Spyro the dragon in a shop (Tesco's?) and said something like "look mummy a dragon game!" so she bought it for me and it became my favourite game. (even thou mum was better at it than me)

I remember back when I was a cute little short stop. Calling my sister,
Stephanie, "Stuff." I can't directly remember how I came to know Spyro,
but I do remember that I never thought about Spyro in my midle school
years. I was caught up in work, busy life [this world sucks these days],
ignoring the fights going on around me, etc. Then, I got my Xbox 360
and recovered my Xbox Live account from my Original Xbox account. As
I was scrolling the Marketplace on Xbox Live one day, I saw A New
Beginning as a download for the whole game. So I downloaded it, and
beat it 6 or 7 times before I heard that DotD was going to come out soon.

[*Takes A Breath*]

So now I am addicted to Spyro again, and have recovered my love for
the dragon from when I was a shorty. Sometimes I need to realize that I
must love God more, especially since Spyro does not exist [ooh, it hurts
to say that].

[Edit] Oh, forgot my life before middle school. Well, I first played Spyro
when Chrash Bandicoot 3: Warped came out for PSX [or PS1, whichever].

I was somewhere around 7 years old when my brother bought StD. I assume he liked the demo hidden on Crash Bandicoot 3: Warped. I wasn't really drawn in at first until playing the second game. I found myself hooked after that... since I didn't have anything better to play.

... so that's where I know it from! I remember that you had to go on one
of those motorcycle levels and hit some sign with an alien on it to play the
demo.
