Possibly around 2010. The movie's coming out first, so I'm not completely sure.

I've seen so many Spyro fans on this site that I'd be surprised if Sierra stopped making more. Spyro's too popular to just stop making games, even if they make twenty movies. The games will probably be a lot more popular than the movies anyway, so I think they'll make more, and they won't stop making games until Spyro becomes less popular, which I don't see happening any time soon, so I'd say there'll be a lot more games.

If the film is based on classic Spyro, I would be amazed... generally I'm expecting a more LoS type movie.

Well, wouldn't make sense if you made a reboot that everyone got used to eventually, then it suddenly suddenly turned back to the Original era? It'll be confusing to the fans which Spyro era Activision will stick with permanently.
