Just to prove I`m not dead, I`ll post here as well. I`ve seen several movies I`ve loved, and it`s hard to pick just one, so here`s my top 3 (in no particular order):

I dunno how to say this, but I usually have a soft spot for some movies that involves Dragons. Here's some of my favorites.

1.) Dragonheart (1st and 2nd)
2.) Dragon Fighter
3.) Dragon Storm
4.) Eragon (Yes, I know it didn't follow the book well, but I like it)
5.) Spirited Away
6.) Kiki's Delivery Service

That's about some of them...well...the Fantasy Related ones. ^^;

I loathe gore. It disgusts me. :-P
My classmate Deven is saying that the Lord of the Rings and the Pirates of the Caribbean trilogies are gory, but that's not true. They are SO mild compared to other movies. :-P
Me and my little brother can both watch every single secene of the Pirates trilogy and the LOTR trilogy without being bothered.
Also, though there's some AWESOME fighting scenes, there's a deep story in both of these trilogies. Yeah, yeah I'll say it:
I cried during the Return of the king and during At world's end! They are such beautiful stories!

Pirates of the Carribean is not gory at all. Lord of the Rings... maybe. But like you said, it's a lot better than some movies.

Pirates 3 was confusing. I went with DDR and we kept looking at each other like, "OK... what?"
