The originals were always good, im not deneing that. But im going to go with my theory that the next game will be about the world being put back together.

The world was being put back together at the end of DotD. I can't verify exactly how much of it did come back together but one of the last cutscenes showed it being pulled back into one piece.

yeah, but it didn't show it being COMPLETELY put back together, so mabye there are bits floating about, or somethings have happened because bits are put back together. I dunno

Well maybe those floating parts were like that already, remember.. In DOTD there's this place in the sky that floats.. It's quite possible that the world just fixed completely.

Yes it's certainly a possibility....it's something we can debate about but in the final cutscene it looked like some pieces were still floating around.....but then in the final scene after the credits everything looked very very normal.

How do we know? Maybe he can. An answer to that has yet to be revealed...but in the end it appeared everything was where it should have been.

Sometime after the movie comes out I imagine. This is def a good chance to take their time on planning and developing the next game...they better use it wisely.

Yeah right....they've been preaching the thing and now they will deliver in extraordinary fashion. Man this movie is gonna suck....well hopefully not but I have that feeling.

If they started making Spyro games like they used to on the PS1 again, I would be a very happy Spyronite. The collecting of items such as orbs, eggs, gems or anything else was something very special and the side activities made it more full. I was entertained on those games for ages even after completing main objectives, just trying to unlock more orbs or eggs etc. or by trying to catch the thieves. I love all the Spyro's though, each in their own unique way. I do feel that the graphics helped make the first classics though, because that was part of the atmosphere it created.

It would be hard to get that asmosphere back. But i am surprised that Digital Eclipse (ETD) Did it so well even though they were a different company and they were doing it on another system. I think they had a little help from stewart copeland's music though.

I think now that TLOS is supposably finished they should think about moving back to the original arc. They can make it darker if they want... I've seen games that have got darker but still kept the same essence, like Jak for example.
I'd really like to see them connect the series too. Not directly. Make the TLOS series some legend that happened 1000s of years ago. An idea might be that there is going to be a "second comming of Malefor" or something

That's true. ETD did do pretty well for a next generation game and a whole new developer. It's true they could keep the atmosphere even if its darker, and a connecting story would be a good idea. TLOS games could be like a legend, as the titles says, and could be a story that has been told by the dragons for years with the myth that one day that legendary dragon would be born... the Spyro in the classic games. I guess there are losts of ways they could do something like that.

Their are plenty of ways that they could connect the series if they truly wanted to...the only thing is that right now so long as Sierra has rights to the character I don't know how much they want to involve the original games. I'm pretty sure they would be content to pass up that situation...but then again who knows. I do like the idea of them just looping back into the older games by basing many of the ideas and standards in them upon the legend that did happen so long ago.....it would be interesting to see but I still don't think Sierra would go for it.

I would love that too. I mean, they tried making Shadow Legacy a little darker - But games like that look much better on a large console instead of a handheld (and besides that, SL was a bit too easy.... I was shocked when the credits ran tbh).
