Invader Zim

Does anyone here like/love Invader Zim? I do! It's an awesome show. I really wish they wouldn't have stopped airing it, but at least I have all the episodes on DVD. big_smile Zim fans can discuss the show in general or their favorite episodes here.

Invader Zim was an actually decent show, despite what some people may rave about its fandom and Jhonen Vasquez. It wasn't the best, but it had an interesting art style and had its clever moments. Though it relied a little too much on shock humor and inside jokes.

It was pretty short-lived, I mean, I think it lasted like only a year. Strange how the fandom grew even larger after its cancellation. It's alright though, supposedly Vasquez disliked working at Nickelodeon studios, and from what I've heard about the studios nowadays, (*cough* Viacom) it's best that he'd left before signing any more contracts. This series is often thought of as experimenting from Vasquez's part.

I love Zim's voice. lol. And GIR is just great. He makes me laugh with just about every word that comes out of his mouth. My favorite GIR moment would have to be when Zim asks him for the soap and when he gets done using it he's like "GIR! Why is there BACON IN THE SOAP!!!" It's just so random, stupid, and out of the blue that it's freaking hilarious.

Invader Zim is a very good show but unfoteuntly it's fanbase can a little bit like the Twilight one sometimes.

But back on to Invader Zim I once whent into a comic shop with my freind and there were these shirts that showed Zim and Dib transformed into sauseges. It was funny because we had onlly just seen that episode the night before.

omhg that show was the best on Nicktoons
frekin a freind of mine got me into it and i think i saw about every episode...tho i wonder if i had missed any.......

I think you mean "Dag." That voice actor gets a lot of gigs, including Billy from the Grim Adventures of Billy and Mandy. He was also in Ratchet and Clank: ToD and Psychonauts.

ah Zim....the memories indeed. This is by far my favorite non-anime cartoon ever, and I doubt any other will ever replace it lol. Gir was indeed one of my heroes, but Zim had his moments too.
