I dont know either to be honest, it was late i think, brain not working. But anywho, the original spyro series is gone and this new one will carry on under a new name, a new age i think it should be called. But the only ways i can see original spyro coming back is either a cartoon or another game.

They went from a an awesome platformer game with great music, deep details, vast skies, bright happy graphics, gems everywhere game to a dark stupid legendary bull action game with way to many moves and enemies and a lot less gems and boring graphics, NO ONE LIKES THE STORYLINE!!! WE LIKE THE GAMING. I loved all the old ones, they need to sell back to insomniac, ratchet and clank suck. AT least they need to invent a new game similar to the old spyros. Look at the crash series, the new ones of those aren't bad, infact the graphics in the new crash look more like spyro graphics. I know INsomniac won't buy back spyro because now the series is down the drain and no one really buys it anymore. Change sucks, they should sell the old spyro's game engine and let us create our own spyro games with drag and drop or something, I'm threw with spyro now and I always write bad letters to the new spyro's owner hahaha but anyway I love the old spyros!!!LONGLIVE!!!!! The old spyros are soon going to all be gone, ps4's won't play the format, ps2's won't work after 10 years and they will all be a thing in only a memory in people's brains. They will be all in attics and not playable on anything. So old spyros need to come back so we don't forget about them. There's no happy memories in the new ones. ANYONE WHO AGREES?????

ANYWAY, Yeah, I can't really understand when people say TLoS and original Spyro are "basically the same".... I get told that on darkSpyro all the time.... =/

I never go on Darkspyro anymore....I wouldn't mind seeing the new games returning...but at this point so long as they continue in some way or another I'll be satisfied.

Any spyro fan would really, its best for spyro to carry on in any shape or form, rather than sticking to one series, its best to be opened minded rather than a closed mind on one series,

I'd love to see the original games come back, but I wouldn't like to see all the new games die.

They can't and won't do both I'm afraid. Unless you have a company insane enough to try and recreate the old games while another series is still in the making....don't see that turning out so well.

Well I didn't mean both at the same time. They should remake the originals shortly after the movie comes out.
When they're done with that, they can carry on with games related to TLOS.

But Stormy, they ARE basically the same. The only difference is the characters... and music... and.... gems... AND enemies... and graphics......... and storyline... and voice acting... and the level setups...

I forgot to mention that the gameplay is also different. But that doesn't matter, because they're still SPYRO games and as long as they stick SPYRO in there somewhere they'll still be the same. *cradles DotD* No... matter... what...

Yeah but if they go completely insane and give spyro a fluffy bunny for a head or something then we will know its not the proper spyro anymore as thsi new spyro is still spyro no matter the fact its the TLOS version.

Yeah, they should keep doing more and more Spyro games and I also reckon they should work harder on it because most people didn't like TLOS. (I did)

I also think they should go back to the original games for a while... everyone misses them. tongue

They have no intention of doing so. Sierra will keep going on there own path and they have made it quite clear that the older games will stay in the past where they belong.
