Should there be ANY music for Spyro Forums?

I have to go to YouTube and play music while I am on here. I REALLY want music on the Spyro forums. Music makes you feel like you are not alone, no music means you feel alone.

Why can't you just listen to your own music? I don't really see how this is a necessity, some people like to listen to their own music on the computer while they're on sites.

Just use Itunes. Putting music on a website is not an easy feat, and I'm pretty sure that it's not something that SR needs or wants to do. Just make your own playlists and listen to them...or just use an Ihome like I do.

I wouldn't necessarily say it's amateur altogether (often it is), but background music does kill people's internet with slower connections.

Music is meaningless to the vast majority of internet websites. As a whole, nobody really cares. As said before it can slow your internet connection and it really isn't needed to make a good website. That and it would just be a bother.

To me, it seems unprofessional, like custom cursors, something that would be best left to myspace layouts.

It's just not necessary to have music playing in the background; most people wouldn't stay on one page for long enough to hear very much of it anyway, and it would just be annoying. No one said they don't like music. Just listen to music from somewhere else.

You do realize that there is a variety of tastes in music just as there are a variety of people here, and each person has different tastes. Not only could some music annoy members and drive them away from the horror, but it makes the site laggier and harder to use for people who may not have something like highspeed. I don't see the point in having it here since other people just want to listen to their own music if any music at all while they're on the site. I am a music nerd and I usually just listen to my own instead of wishing that there was music playing to make my computer slower and to make the site seem a little less professional.

You know that iTunes is a completely free program, right grievous16. And it doesn't cause lagging issues on computers. I recall I could never get to the Spyro website cause of the background music. <.<;

I wouldn't want music on here because it would probably be annoying if you were trying to watch or listen to something on another window.

It really does not matter to me if this site has music or not, cause I have a radieo with me and it's always on. But I also agree with SR, it is annoying and it is aemature because some times you could have the master vol up as high as you could get it then out of no were music starts without a warning.
